Actually, it means "Who is this?" not "What is that?"

And in Russian it should have been "Kto eto? Ochen khorosho."

Rey, relax, that isn´t turkish, that´s really russian (кто это - who is this (male)... эта (female); очень хорошо - very good), so you DO know turkish, don´t worry 

Actually "кто это" refers both to male and female (anybody). Just like "who is this" refers to both genders

yeah sure, but here it was written with "a" in the end...either it was written down just like you hear it or the person who asked, asked it about female...and i soo hate it that russians are using latin for writing in internet, coz it´s killing their own mother language...

I agree, someone may have written the word as he/she heard it because in Russian language you do not write the words as you hear them. Orphography is rather different and difficult.

As for Russians using latin alphabit instead of cyrillic, sometimes it is just easier to use latin. Not many people can read and write in cyrillic.
