Istanbul is huge. You can find literally everything there, even legal whore houses.
But would you want to?
I was just shocked that prostitution is legal in a country that is over 90% muslim
The same with gay house and drinking
These all exist but no one is willing to mention they exist instead they make fun of foreignors

On the street where I live, women walk in g-strings and there are hookers and transvestites hunting at night. There are quite a few locations in Istanbul where this is a common sight. Usually these streets are sandwiched by the districts of middle income group. Not far away, there are the streets of poor working class-people and the streets they live in closely resemble the villages and towns of Eastern Anatolia they originated from.
These people built their homes on land illegaly seized from public property. With so many houses built like this, they soon form a neighborhood and gradually become large illegal districts where hundreds of thousands of people live bereft from public services such as water and electricity (both of which are often stolen from public property).
In Turkey, illegal housing shows a mad increase before elections. Politicians and municipalities offer ownership certificates in those newly formed districts. These are the times when land mafia makes it big in a completely tax free environment. These mafia type organizations pave the road for crime, violence and bigotry in these surroundings.
Naturally, these people live as aliens to the host culture. Having said that, this host culture is actually formed by older generations of emigrants. It is hard to find a family living in Istanbul since five or six generation ago. That means the present city culture of Istanbul has hardly been an amalgamation of the past and present. Instead, it is a consequence of a wide scale pillaging of its propery and amassing of its domestic culture by villagers who have become both the perpetrators and the victims of this cultural slaughter.

I consider legal prostitution a sign of civilization, first, because the employees could be monitorized about their healthy and second, the state can take more taxes for development of country

yes I agree to you; prostitution involve only the body, no heart, no feelings..but..as long as it will exist..we have to do something for these women, and here is not about you, me is about all around the world....my point of view. I fyou look in history will see that prostitution, pervert relationship and lesbian/ guy relationships exist since ancient times; greeks and romans had these kind of relation in their history...I am not saying that prostitution is good; no, it isnt, but it never disapper...maalesef

You are right on that. But think about like this
Right now, even though lots of family are in financial trouble, women of family are not sayin"hmm, so since i can not find another job, let me go and work in whorehouse". Nope, why ? because even it is the oldest occupation, never respected. I am not saying that this people (tehre are man, gay, 3th kind, prostitutes also) should be misstreated. But saying we should not make this job something like people will enjoy being.
There is no solition for stopping prostitution then rising peoples moral level. No religion is free from that responsibilty. In islamic law (şeriat) countries like Iran, saudi arabia, they have whore houses, where you choose your layd, they make you marry her according islam, you go and f*ck her, then divroce her according islamic rules...And same poeple ll stone you if they see you are kissing your boyfrient on the street little bit hot.
This was the problem of spritzer at the firs hand. We ll call western contries immoral, pervert, big devil, source of every bad happening, but ll have that kind of immoral places in the hearth of our towns. That is more immoral then being a prostitude.
