Quoting melek08

Cherished are the memories that
Brought us to this day,
For yesterday, was just a dream ...
A wish to contemplate.

Değer verilmiş olan

bizi bugüne getirmiş olan hatıralardır.

Dün için yalnızca bir rüyaydı...

Gerçekleşmesi niyet edilen bir dilek.

A fantasy where in my mind,
A fleeting glimpse I´d see ...
A vision of the true desires
I longed for endlessly.

Bir fantezi zihinde

Kısa bir görüş görülmek istenen..

Gerçek arzuların kısa bir vizyonu

Sonuza dek özlemini duydu(ğu)m

And when I dreamed, I did not know
The love I´d feel today;
The height of my true feelings,
And the depths they would portray.

Hayal kurduğumda bilmiyordum

Bugün hissedeceğim aşkı.

Gerçek duygularımın yüksekliğini

Ve tasvir edecekleri derinliği

And if I had one wish today,
A simple wish t´would be ...
Is that the love we feel this moment,
Lasts eternally.

Bugün son bir dileğim olsa

Bir basit dilek olurdu...

Şu an hissettiğimiz aşkın

Sonsuza dek sürmesi.

Reality has merged now
As you stand here by my side;
And as I join your hand in mine,
My heart does fill with pride.

Gerçeklik birleşti şimdi

Burada benim yanımda dururken

Senin elini benimkine birleştirirken

Kalbim gururla dolar.

For as I pledge my love to you,
I see in many ways,
Reflections of my love for you
Are mirrored in your gaze.

Aşkımı sana rehin verirken

Bir çok şekilde görüyorum

Sana olan aşkımın yansımalarını

Yansıtılmış olan dik bakışında

And by our presence here today,
And for the love we share,
I thank you for our yesterdays
That brought us to be here.

Ve bugün burada varlığınla

Ve paylaştığımız aşk için

Teşekkür ederim sana dünler için

Bizi buraya getirmiş olan.

But more than this, I vow to you,
My wishes yet to come ...
Tomorrow´s dreams and fantasies,
This day that we are one.

Bundan fazla olarak yemin ederim sana

Dileklerim gerçekleşecek

Bugünün hayalleri ve fantezileri

O gün ki  biz biriz.

Tomorrow´s an adventure
That we´ll share together now;
Our future´s intertwined forever,
Through this holy vow.

Yarın bir maceradır

Ki paylaşacağız onu şimdi birlikte

Geleceğimiz birbirine geçmiş sonsuza dek

Bu kutsal yeminle.

I promise to remember
In the future years and days,
The love I feel for you this moment ...
... Dreams fulfilled today.

Söz veririm hatırlamaya

Gelecekte yılları ve günleri

Şu anda san hissttiğim aşkı...

....Bugün gerçekleşmiş rüyaları.

For in the coming years as we
Move on, and reminisce,
Back to the day I stood with you
And promised with a kiss ...

Çünkü gelen yıllarda biz

İlerledikçe ve hatırları andıkça

Geriye doğru seninle birlikte durduğum

Ve bir öpücükle söz verdiğim güne

That blessed are the days that
I have looked into your eyes,
And felt the warmth and love reflect,
The essence of our lives.

Şu kutsanmış günlerdir ki

Gözlerinin içine baktım

Ve yansıyan sıcaklığı ve aşkı hissettim

Hayatlarımızın özünü

*****

Yesterday we dreamed of what might be;
Today we validate our love;
And tomorrow we will cherish the life we have shared as one.

 Dün birlikte ne olabileceğini hayal ettik

Bugün aşkımızı  gerçekleştiriyoruz

Yarın  bir olarak paylaştığımız hayatı yaşatacağız.

 I will continue to translate if the administration doesn´t kick me out.{#emotions_dlg.lol}

No, this is not being naughty. I like teasing LIR, I don´t have an ulterior motive.

I was only criticising the fact that you had posted ´my try´ for something that was a complete copy/paste from google translate - so it wasn´t really ´your try´ was it?  We are all trying to be good at Turkish but I don´t think google translate is of much help except on very short sentences which we should be capable of on our own anyway.

Not true.  I don´t always do it at all.  My criticism of you in the past was due to the fact that I saw you as arrogant following posts in this thread like the one below:

 Why did it disturb you so much?

Well - when I was 16 years old, (and now I´m 20 ) I have joint an exam which lasted for 7 hours and I got a diploma by the TURKISH REPUBLIC GOVERNMENT and I have been recognized an authority to give private lessons for English.

I can also speak Greek. My teacher was a Greek and he taught me Greek in English, likewise my Spanish teacher thaught me Spanish in English.

 I have also some certificates about the sufficienty in English.

I think I have right to claim that English is my SECOND NATIVE LANGUAGE!

Okay?

I´m not talking WITHOUT a basement, this is my own idea about myself, I didn´t comment about other ones, but I didn´t understand how it turned into a discussion.

I´m trying to teach people here something, I have been spending my hours AND WHAT AM I DISCUSSING FOR ? FUNNY!

thx

turkishcobra

I am not commenting any further than I commented in that thread.  However, you appear to have lightened up a bit so maybe you are starting to grow up!

As for Nifrtity - same problem with her - arrogantly insisting she speaks English like a native.  I am sure she can ´get by´ in far more languages than I can and I admire her for that but - as several of us pointed out here - her English is not that good.

It just annoys me because the foreign (to me) members of this site who do communicate in really excellent English are usually self-deprecating and wouldn´t dream of stating that they speak it like a native.

lol LIR, sure that I can´t be arrogant as much as you... Arrogance is what you know very well; criticizing everybody because of any reason, and trying to show that you know the best. Yes, I have written these text to show that I know something but at least not criticizing everybody in front of me!

How fast you have forgetten the days that you were ´bombing´ me with the other member of gang, ReyhanL, because of some small mistakes in my lyrics translations. So, if this is not arrogance, then what?

I don´t speak a perfect English, yes. My claim was just a way to end the discussion. But I couldn´t guess that you were perfect that at turning sentences!

TC - your profile says you´re a teenager - and a Turkish one at that - trust me, arrogance comes with the job!!  lol

Please, don´t forget to mention those whose English is not that good but yet they are able to communicate with the others.For example scalpel.{#emotions_dlg.shy}
