It doesn´t fit that sentence. And I have never heard götürmek is also used for "destroy".
It would be helpful if we could trust dictionaries now and then...

oh again - I see it also means ´get laid´ wow this sentence has a multitude of meanings!

First you use `crime` for `suç` now you use `destroy` for `götürmek`... hmmmm

yes like avalon said take advantage of a women or guy maybe leading astray ,for a bit of üst üste rough and tumble

I´m a Turkish native and never heard people using "götürmek" for destroy.
Well - let me make a little statement.
When you want to say "flood took the village away."
Sel suları kasabayı götürdü. Yes, it looks like "flood destroyed the village" but it has "causing something to replace." meaning.
Beni götüremezsin > you can´t destroy me. No, it sounds very rasping and does not fit it.
Trust natives, mate. Sometimes native-speaker are more assuring resources than dictionaries

In mafia/street jargon you can use it as kill. Like
Seyfo´nun adamları Kara Bilali götürmüş.
Like "seyfo´s crew killed Kara Bilal"...
Did not use it ever for destroy...

Trust natives, mate. Sometimes native-speaker are more assuring resources than dictionaries
no objections to being corrected by a native speaker! just remember the ´trust a native speaker´ thing is reciprocal! i have seen some well weird English translations on here and occasionally English native speakers not being listened to! (this is not personal to you abi)
