O´nu "ummu hint" (hint´in annesi) diye çağırırlardı. Hatice´nin babası, Huvelyid Kavmi arasinda şerefli, hatırı sayılır bir kişiydi.

(what is o´nu?? i know she was called hint´s mother but i dont understand the sentence completely). Hatice´s father, huveylid kavmi was among the honorable and respected person.

ebu talib said these words but in reality, he didn´t want his nephew to go to sham region.

also when ebi telib said "bir adamim" what does it mean? i thought among my men, but you excluded it from the translation. i was confused on that part when i was trying to translate it..

Can atmak = this is a phraise that means to want something so badly.

Can at [ stem of the verb ] + ıyordu [ this is "was doing", "were doing" form]

in this context ;

 adam = man

adam + ım ---> I am man  

so it would literally be ;

I am a man who is not rich and no possession.

Women, while worshipping the idol, someone among us approached in a loud voice said:

-(Ey kadınlar! Yakında sizin beldenizde; Allah´ın kitabiyla "ahmed" isminde bir peygamber gönderilecek...sizlerden hangisi onunla evlenebilirse evlensin!)

Oh women! In the near future in your place, Allah’s book and a prophet “ahmed” in the name will be sent….all of you, which can marry him, you marry him!

This shows an interesting difference in Turkish and English sentence style and punctuation. In Turkish we use the style:

X, Y´ye:

- bu sözler, söyledi

In English we use the style:

X said, "These words" to Y.

We start the quote with a capital letter, and also put all necessary punctuation within the quotation marks.

or even

Our Lord the Prophet put sheep out to pasture. Later he took are of camels. He also had a partner. The camels, they gave to Hz Hatice´s sister to rent.  From this rent there was an amount of credit due to he prophet and his partner. Our Lord the Prophet, from his modesty and his manners, he wasn´t going to ask for the credit.

His partner want to ask for the credit, he went to Hz Hatice and her sister.

Evlendiklerinde Hz Hatice 40, Peygamber Efendimiz ise 25 yaslarindaydi. Nikahlari kıyıldı. Hz Hatice´nin evi, gelenlerle dolup taştı.

When they were marrying, their ages was Hz Hatice 40, the Prophet 25. They cut up their nuptials (haha . A lot of people came to Hz Hatice´s house.

Develer kesildi, ziyafetler verildi.

Camels were slaugther and feasts were given.

Gelenlerin içerisinde Peygamberimiz´in süt annesi Halime de vardı.

Also present among the people who came was the Prophet´s milk mother Halime.

Hz Hatice ona 40 adet koyun hediye etti. Peygamber Efendimiz´in gözleri yaşarmıştı.

Hz Hatice presented her with 40 sheeps. The prophet was teary eyed.

Hz Hatice validemizden önçe Kasım dünyaya geldi. Peygamber Efendimiz´e "Ebu´l Kasım" (Kasım´ın Babası adı verildi.

From Hz Hatice our mother at first Kasim came to the world. The Prophet was given the name "Kasim´s father"

Sonra Rukiyye, Zeynep, Ümmu Gülsüm ve Fatima isimli çocuklar dünyaya geldi.

Later children with the name Rukiyye, Zeynep, Ummu Gulsum and Fatime came to the world.
