Interesting and i agree. God did not create evil, in our disobedience we create evil. But again all is from God, by free will which is given by God we use our ego, pride and selfishness to create evil.

All from God except for evil. God is holy therefore evil cannot come from Him. Evil is an automatic appearance in the lack of God. When you reject God you belong to Evil.

... Well, I´m going to go a throw my laptop in the trash, since I probably see this as God as well. I think I´ll just sit in a dark room, not look at anything that gives me joy. Because if something gives me joy, it must be because it´s becoming my new God. And we all know that ain´t good. Loving my family, enjoying the sun on my face, everything is just selfish and worshipping semi-Gods. In the dark room I will spend my days waiting for my horrible death. I think I will also stop eating, since food also gives me joy and I probably see a hamburger as God as well, and his wrath will fall upon me for worshipping burgers. Even though I will spend my days just praying and dying, I´m sure I will end up in hell anyway, since lemon said so, so... goodbye my dear fellow forummers. See you there!!!

If you really believe in true Biblical God, not imagined Santa, then you should pray and ask what is the purpose of your life. If He says, enjoy, do whatever you want to, then why not? Take it easy. There was no sin. Sin is a myth so is wrath and punishment. Jesus didnt suffer and die on a cross, its a myth too. Or maybe He suffered on the cross so that you can enjoy your burgers and have a nice sun tan, oh, yes, definitely.

As for loving family Jesus recommends to leave your family, to deny yourself and carry your cross. But of course you dont know of such verses.

Enjoying life is not a sin. Actually not enjoying life is a sin. Google acedia, and you´ll know what I mean.

And if your mother or father need your help, Jesus didn´t say you should leave them. You should honour your parents (the Bible says so) and so leaving your family is not always the best thing. If my mom is sick, I don´t think God would say it was a sin for me to stay at home and take care of her.

Ummm....I seem to have taken a wrong turn.  Does anyone in this bible study class happen to know what happened to Turkish Class?
