Quoting aenigma x: Well, unlike you, I did not come to this site to fight. I have been a member of this site since December 2005 and I came here to learn something of the culture, beauty, richness and of course, language, of your beautiful country. Along the way I met some wonderful people, some of whom will be friends for life.
I dont think I will come here for a while - if I stay around I will begin to change my mind about your country.
Have fun.

Could any one explain me the point which I can hardly understand that why a person who hasn't had any post at all, or had just a few posts have uploaded his/her personal pictures on here? Is it just to appease her female vanity by seeing how many times her pictures have been viewed? As far as I know this is not a dating site.

Quoting Rain: Quoting turkiyemylove: I would like to join that conversation, I find it quite interesting. This is very strange for me to ( I mean telling 'I love you ' as a first words). It's interesting because it happend to me too and I have no idea what does it mean... I met in Turkey very nice Turk and he said the same at almost third day, but I turned it into a joke and forget about, I have to tell you that he was very polite... he didn't want anything from me, actually he wanted to give me something all the time and that made me a little bit ambarassed. He didn't seem to be one of the one-night boys or something like that(if he did I wouldn't even talk to him, it's very bad in my opinion...sorry...) and I spend very nice time meeting with him sometimes, I'm still keeping in touch with him and he still don't want anything. But that words like 'I love you' and 'seni seviyorum' told all the time are still a big mystery for me... I just don't know what to think about that, I thought it's just different culture but I still can't understand that. There is some important detail in this history... I've been there with my parents!! and there appeared kind of friendship between my parents and him... he respected my parents and their every word very much (especially my mother).
What do you think about that? I'm curious about your opinions.

Sorry I think I didn't get your opinion at all... You know, I think I have some brain because I never trusted him at all (and even now I'm trying to keep it all in perspective) and I was almost sure it can finish like most of the stories, I was a little bit surprised when he called when I was finally in Poland, you know, he is really learning english for me, I can see that when we talk by phone (he is calling me 4 days per week since I'm in Poland)on the beginning I was talking a little bit turkish, and he tryed to talk english and polish a little, but now almost all of our conversations are in english (that's surprising he learned so much since a month! it's not that easy because he's working nearly all day long)and something about translations, I think that some or maybe even most of translations such as letters or even sms sometimes are because we want to do something nice and write something from time to time in our friends native language, I think it's nice when you're getting the message from other country in your own language... I feel very good when I get the message from turkey...in polish
Whatever.... selamlar.

Don't leave here, remember he is only one person he doesn't make up the entire country. I enjoy your posts and value you as a member. Believe me, I have had my differences with people here even Rain, but don't let him discourage you from contributing to this site.

Perhaps you can address that question to the administrators and they can explain. Personal pictures and/or pictures of turkey are allowed to be uploaded.
I don't understand whether it would make a difference if a person has a few posts or any posts at all. The site has rules, but not many abide by them and they are not enforced, that would be another good question to address to the administrators.
Sorry I could not explain.

Qdemir, why do you say his/her personal pictures and then ask if it id to appease her "female vanity"?
I think you want to send this private message to a certain individual....
But first look in the rules to see if there is a requirement of forum posts prior to posting personal pictures.
