Quoting Elisa:

The consonant harmony rule where the consonants of kitapçı (that's how I remember them ) change to ğ-d-b-c when a vowel follows,

hey thanks for that, that'll come in useful!

Want another one?

Efe paşa çok hasta

After the consonants in this sentence, d becomes t and c becomes ç

example:
okul / okul-da
but
mutfak / mutfak-ta

Lets take the name Melek.
We would say Meleğim, Meleğe etc. but is it written the same? I don't think that it would be written like this because there are no apostrophes. How would it be written?

The consonant harmony rule where the consonants of kitapçı (that's how I remember them ) change to ğ-d-b-c when a vowel follows, doesn't apply on proper nouns. Hence Melek'im. Still, you do pronounce it as "Meleğim".

Dışarı
To say I want to go outside do we say Dışarıya çıkmak istiyorum or Dışarı çıkmak istiyorum? I have heard both of them used. Which one is correct?

I asked something about dışarı a while ago, I think it will help.

she fancies him means "Kız ondan hoşlanıyor" you can use fancy for "hoşlanmak" like "like"

for question 10: "yapmış olduğumu anladım"

It is like past perfect. "I realized that I had made a mistake"

this is -mış, -miş" geçmiş zaman, you weren't aware of it when you made the mistake but now you realised it.
"Onu sevmiş olduğumu anladım"
"I understood that I had loved him/her."
You loved him/her but it was long ago, it is finished and completed. When you look back now you realise it.

Today I read the word Bulaşıkları although I have only ever heard Bulaşık actually used. Please just clarify whether or not it can be used.

Ödevleri yapıverin : Do the homework (we don't know whose homework that is)

Ödevlerini yap (do your homework)
if you say "ödevlerini yapıverin" do his/her homework because yapıverin/geliverin is for 2nd person plural

yapıver/geliver/gidiver: 2nd person singular.

Ödevlerini yapıver : Do your homework.

Bulaşıkları yıkamak: wash the dihes / do the washing up
we usually use it in plural form.

Bulaşık is both an adjective and a noun.
bulaşık makinası (dishwasher)
Bu tabak bulaşık oldu (this plate is dirty yani it needs to be washed)
