Quoting Nikki:

Dear Ceyda,

Just think we have to live here all the time with grey skies.

I believe it is funnier living in Turkey than here in England as some Turkish man told me.

I would love to live in a country with blue skies and better weather, most of it all the year round. It is better for our happiness, as this is what sunshine does to us.

hehe,,, its not just the sunshine though is it? of course it helps... but i think its just the people, the culture, the food yumyum , and one more thang: that weird feeling u get as ur plane approaches the runway, like a weird magical feeling. maybe thats what life is..?

Quoting Daydreamer:

Jda,
I'm sorry u feel so bad about staying in the UK, but try to make the best of it. Don't snap to decisions. You're still so young so do enjoy it. Think about it this way: maybe living in the UK gives you more opportunities than Turkey would. You may get a good education over there and then move to Turkey if that's where your heart belongs (and I guess it does after reading ur essay). Just, like Bliss said, keep your beautiful smile on and focus on some goals achievable in the UK. Whatever will be will be. Don't lose hope! As for fags....poor you
kendine iyi bak, her seyin iyi olacagindan eminim

hehe yeah the fags... poor me eh?
i think u are right about the education etc. because i have had a good education here, i do admit it. and i really dont want to make snappy decisions, but i do that a lot: its almost a habit i think hehe but my family is planning to move their in a few years anyway.. so if i move their next year, wheres the harm? it will do wonders for my turkish, and then i can start my career
right now though, im starting to worry about break time in 15 mins. two words: FIELD, CIGARETTE oh yeah... 3 words, & COLD
and where did u read my essay from? has it been uploaded to this site yet? or did u read it on sesli? i cant find it on here!!!

Quoting Scorpio Girl:

Miss Ceyda,
I am sad that you are having such a horrible time in my country - it made unhappy to hear you say that because you seem such a lovely girl. Unfortunately, it seems to make a big difference where you live in the UK. I live on the Isle of Wight and am proud to say we embrace all cultures, have lots of sunshine and it is a beautiful place to live. Move to the South of England Ceyda!
At least you have many people who care about you on this site.
x

ahh.. im loved... can u see this people... im loved... hehe
thanks for ur comment... of course ill come to the south of england, im packing my bags as i type.. hehe
thanks for ur comment again im glad there are lots of people who understand me, really

being limited to not being able to express your opinion if its not about the week's tv programme, in fear of being called "posh" or stuck up because i may know whats on the news or such.. whatever... :S
limited to not seeing other cultures or learning new things about different people any places... this must be hell on earth.. and i seem to have found it...
not being able to do certain things here and there becasue of racial discrimination...is life really worth it in this place??
and then to top it off... needing a cigarette.. and not being old enough to buy them!!

Miss Ceyda - never feel scared of seeming "posh" for knowing what's going on in the news or in the world - this is a form of education in itself - and education is one of the most important things in life. There is always so much to learn - pity people who don't want to know what's going in the world - or about other cultures - they are the ones whose lives are less enriched. Pity them.

But as for the cigarettes - be grateful you're not old enough to buy them

It's great that you're part of two cultures and that you want to learn so much. Cling onto that. And one day... you'll be able to leave the grey behind

(read this with a posh voice )
"pith them? why, i do nothing else darling... and im certain that you are correct in what u are saying...
(ok forget the poshness now hehe)
... i think its great to have two cultures bcoz it kind of makes me more individual and unique, and thats what i like i wont let go of that ever, thanks"

I wanted to say words are so special and mean a lot but my experience of true beauty I feel by a loving feeling which makes you feel beautifull by actions more than words sometimes

Peace
