Aslında,Bence,it depends why would i want to learn the language?
And the way i've been tought the language too

İf i would learn the language for work, for fun,i wouldn't be much interested in the culture as much as if i want to learn it to live there

And the way i am studying the language too, some teachers not only teaching you a language, but giving you a culture, you feel you are flying there, watching and hearing what he say,and that would make you keen to know more and learn more, about the whole culture, and people too

Same concept here too at TC,there is a section to discover Turkyia,to see it and watch it,which would make you want to know more about it

But generally,i guess in the end you cann't separate language from culture, because language is the way the culture speaks
And in the end you would be interested in the culture too

Btw, can i say

Aslında,Bence together ? as i say in English, well,in my opinion...can i ??

Quoting MrX67:

may a junk question, but worth to talk about it i think?(i don't think so a western and eastern person talking the same language even they using same language and same words)shorly my mean whats meaning of a proper language without understanding,i hope you got my mean??

Ok,let me try this, you mean which do we choose ?
To talk the language fluently,as if we are Türkler, but we don't understand the culture
Or, to understand about the culture itself, the Türkler themselves

Right ?

That is what you meant by saying Western and Eastern, can talk same words, but can't talk same language, right?
Cause they don't understand each other culturally

Erdinç,pls,

There was some improvements in the dictionary the new version i mean,
İt used to suggest the words,in case we have mistakes in the spelling, and that happens alot with me,and i guess with others too since we are beginners,
Beside ,while offerening the word,we may get to know others word we didn't know how to look them up,which they contain more than 1 word, like

Where are you ?
ALLAH bless you

Things like that,

Will we have those improvements in the current dictionary again ?
İt is so frustrating when i look a word up,and i even don't get anything ,not a near word ,or noun or verb ,or anything at all close to it,anything to make me think, yesss here is the root, others would be suffix or something
İ don't even get the root verb anymore

İt just makes me helpless and i don't know how or where to search it :-S

Quoting Saskia:

Gözlerime bakma güzel kalbim ağliyor
Sensiz geçen her an ruhumu dağliyor
Nafile her geçen gün beni sana daha fazla bağliyor
Seni her gördüğümde yüreğim bir başka çağliyor.

don't look at my eyes, my beautiful heart is crying
my soul is hurting every moment that passes without you
every day that passes in vain is tieing me to you
every time i see you my heart is (something)

this is my attempt

Çağmak means to go down'For the sun',so i think it can be
every time i see you my heart sink ??from joy i mean ??

but how do Türkler think that way,if they already attract, people ,i mean foreigner people by their music, and the magic hidded inside,it is a mixed music, represent the mixed culture with its beauty

A song like Sen gelmez oldun
Or Mihriban is a real beauty,in the meaning of the words,or in the music

Kayahan,Nilüfer,Rafet El roman,Güly,Ebru gündeş,Sibel Can,Özcan Deniz,sezen aksu....and more and more

Their songs can be compared to others ??

Even Fun songs are great,i really like those songs ,Gerçekleri Tarih Yazar, Cimbom Galatasaray, from Galatasaray 100.YIL Albümü

Well,i am a Galatasaray fan tho ,,lol

Neyse,
İf we want to listen to this ..this...'crap sry'it is really available

But what is unique is the Türk Müziği

Didn't they even study economy ??

Much difference between what is common and what is rare

Unbelievable !!!
