Also, doing a simple google search for Turkish lessons might be helpful, I don´t know where exactly you are in Silesia, but I looked for some in Katowice, and here´s one I found:

"Miasto: Katowice
Data dodania: 25/11/2008

Śląsk... Absolwentka turkologii z kilku letnim stażem w nauczaniu udziela korepetycji z języka tureckiego. Dostępne także tłumaczenia. Cena za godzinę 50 złoty. Zapraszam serdecznie do nauki tego wspaniałego języka... nataliakrysiak@yahoo.com"
I´m sure there´s more than that.

Also, on this website you´ll find classes for beginners under "Turkish Classes". And you can always ask questions in the "Turkish language" forum, we´re all here to help each other

Powodzenia!

 oooo how nice thanks i may use it as well

Hi, you know Rossetta Stone. there is a program you can learn basics and hear the pronunciation of words. It is fun way of learning language, you hear, see pictures, write, record own voice and so ever...

 You would not be brilliant in turkish, but I think it is helpful..

But i think the best way of learning languages is to go the country where the language is spoken for a year or little more.

Good Luck to you and all learners!!!

. "Anyway, normally trips to hairdressers in Turkey are fairly boring for me- I´m not fluent in Turkish and i´d rather just pass the time peacefully. Anyway, this particular hairdresser kept making eye contact with me and it made me cringe inside as I had to give fake smiles. Then he appeared to get closer to me than necessary and whilst he was washing my hair seemed to spend what I would class as too much time washing my hair and massaging my head (he used about 8 different shampoos- no joke!). I started to feel uncomfortable, wondering whether it was totally innocent or if I should trust my instincts and say something... "

You know I had an expirence something similar to you. This male-hair dresser was putting a small towel around my neck, I felt wird,  I think because the hair dresser was a male and I have not have a male hairdresser before. I immedlitly responded. I  took that towel saying: I can do it.. It worked. And next time I went there I had wore turtle-neck top {#lang_emotions_lol}

i thnk helal is the oppisite of haram, helal means okay or acceptable in religion i think :S, it means lawful or okay, so maybe when you described your feelings she said its not helal (heheh)at least thats what it means in arabic

 I am sorry, but let me clearify thisfor you a bit. "Haram" means serious sin which God in the Quran forbides and a preson will be puniched for this in this life or hereafter. "Halal" , on the other hand means the opposite so it is what Allah wants us to do, meaning avoiding evils things which brings one closer to God and makes him a better beliverwith true faith.

P.S. I do not know what is your belief, but you have to learn more anout her religion  as well. Good Luck.
