I´m not impressed by him being a gypsy, just like I´m not impressed by anybody´s ethnicity. You have to do something more then just being born to impress me.

It sometimes work when you play the oppressed one, actually it usually works in TR, so it is normal for me to think like this since the guy raised in TR, sorry then

Perhaps, but two men (or women) being in a monogamous relationship will not have a negative effect on you. It´s not contagious or anything (The homosexuality... ohw, if only monogamy was contagious, that would save so many heartbreaks )

It always affects people, its like your kids hang out with their friends who have bad habits, and you are worried about them...

Peoples are social entities thats why they built up nations thus they are affected from eachother, i think thats the deal... Wink

I never got the big deal behind gay marriage. Just because you give your neighbor the choice, it´s not like YOU have to get married to somebody of the same sex. If two consenting adults feel like they want to marry eachother, then what is the big deal?

I am sure you know the answer, but what is the purpose of asking this? You try to say Jews are greater than Turks? to humiliate? A prejudice against Turks that they were not able to raise a prominent people to win a nobel? , you know as turkaturk said Turks are easily offended {#emotions_dlg.lol}

In my opinion, a lot of good people are gypsies but since it´s not stamped on their head people assume they are not gypsies. They don´t fit the stereotypical view of a gypsy. I once met a gypsy man in a Türkü bar who was an amazing drummer. He went to the conservatorium for music, and he dreamed of taking his international music career a step further. A very nice, educated and good man. He also said that he would not mention to most Turkish people that he was a gypsy, because people would immediately make assumptions about him and would start to treat him badly.

So he was suddenly convinced that you were not a prejudiced person at your first meet and decided to tell you that he was a gypsy . I guess he was just trying to impress you. Im sure people who knows him, knows that hes a gypsy, actually Turks can understand it from his eyes, these kind of things are hard to be hidden in Turkey. By the way what did you think of when you first travel to Turkey? No prejudice? Because i think every thinking mankind has prejudices in his/her mind, its sometimes true sometimes not...
