Hello my dear classmates,
I want to apologize that I am not writing in Turkish.Even tough I understood evrything you wrote but it is very hard for me to express my thoughts in Turkish, especially I couldn't study lately.I think you all forgive me because the reason was exusable.But I promise to do my best and catch up.Next time I'll try and maybe can write in Turkish.
I am glad to see everyone is back here in our lovely site, and we have many new members whom I welcome and like to be friends to them too.I think we have to make our site more "turkish" , and I want to thank you , dear Daydreamer for your great idea.Just one suggestion , please.Let's start with both languages in the begining because not all of us understand Turkish very well, and I think it will help us to learn better.

Regards Bliss

DO NOT BELIEVE...

Do not believe in my verses and rhymes
When they tell you, darling, how deeply I love you,
That at every moment I pray God for you
And that I carve your name in the trunks of trees -

Do not believe! But late at night, when the moon shines,
And pours silver over blue rocky mountains;
There, where in the shrubs a new spring flutters,
And where our blue lilacs are sweetly asleep,

Come, I'll wait for you! And in these hours,
When against my chest you press yourself tightly,
If you feel then, love, that my body trembles,
And burns with passion in the grasp of its fire;

Then believe me , love, that's all you need to know!
For real love knows not how to use words;
It only burns like a blaze, not cautious,
Nor does it care, love, for verse and rhyme.

ALEKSA SANTIC(serbian poetry)

Enjoy...

I want nothing but the best for you,
and that's why I want you
to always have me in your life...

Wanting the best for you
means wanting you to always have
a friend you can count on,
a love that you can celebrate,
arms that you can come home to,
and a life that feels fulfilled.

Wanting the best for you
makes me wish that
you'll always want me in your life,
because nobody will love you
like I will...

Nobody will try as hard
to give you what you need
and what you wish for;
and nobody could feel
as happy as I am
or as privileged
or as hopeful.

I want the best for you...
and that includes me.
Not because I'm perfect...
but just because
I'm perfectly in love with you.

If somebody could translate this poem to Turkish I will appreciate that very much.
Thanks in advance.
Regards Bliss

Celine Dilon has many great songs in French.Dallida is not bad.But I like Charles Aznavour most.He projects the grand romantic fantasy in his personality.
"I write for people about people, about human problems - and first one is Love.But I don't always make it sweet.I leave it just as it is, with all the good and bad parts of it.I write about things that people gladly do but do not dare talk about" - Charles Aznavour.
"The British and Americans have always seen popular music as part of industry, whereas in France they treat it as part of art. Such original artists as Reinhardt, Grappelli and Edith Piaf bear witness to the fact that quality and popularity can go hand in glove.
Of all the great French chanteurs, and there have been a good many, Charles Aznavour is the most complete.His best songs always seem to spill out from his own experience; he says about his method of composing: 'I work like a photographer.When I see an interesting person or problem, I put them into words, frame it into music.'
Added to this, Charles Aznavour is a first-rate actor, and not least of all when he is singing a dramatic ballad, the witty, romantic lover is changed with the deftness of a mime artist into the boastful "ham performer", or the midle-aged man regretting his squeandered youth.
Aznavour knows the the secret.He understands that the romantic fantasies we all experience are for indefinable reasons never more seductive than when sing by sad-eyed Frenchman."
Barri Fntoni

"He projects the grand romantic fantasy in his personality - a tense presence that embodies sadness and ecstasy in equal parts - and not least of all in his songs, a composite of all the emotions that make up the illusion of Love."
Laurie Henshaw
If sombody is interested in , I can share with all.
I prefer to listen old fashoned way, the records on turntable.It is totally different thing.Try it, you'll love it.
I hope this will be interesting for you.

In USA it is impossible to buy house or flat(as you say)without mortgage unless you are very rich,but reach people do not put their money in mortgage, they invest somwhere else. Right now market is very expensive even though interests are low.If you want to buy a house then you have to barrow money from banks, take a loan.And if the loan is approwed, you have to pay downpayment which is 3 to 10 percent(sometimes it is grater than that).You have to pay your loan in 15-30 years.Finally your house coasts you 3times more than your loan because of the interest you have to pay.Now rent in California is very high and people are interested in buying the house.
