does it mean... "this distance or separation is your fault? " the kotu part was written without "ö,ü" so i´m not sure of the meaning...

doesn´t gün mean day?
so is ´aralar´ a different word for it? ´lar´ is plural form so ´ara´ is also another translation for day?

bu aralar = these days
This is an idiomatic expression. Instead "bu aralar" it was possible to say "bu günlerde" but bu aralar is more casual.

´ara´ can mean time. I think that this is just an expression that is used in Turkey-not necessarily a direct translation and I´ve seen it used several times for´ these days´

Distance
Gap
You have to go by the context.
the dictionary says:

7. intermediary, intermediate.
In this sentence it is meaning no. 6: At this time, i.e. Nowadays, at the moment etc.

hmmm... i do understand that " bu aralar= these days" i was curious... why "aralar" was translated as "days". does "günler" and "aralar" mean the same thing?
