It's more than we usually get, isn't it?
Just let me leave this world having done some good, and with a shred of dignity, that's good enough for me.

Do you mean you wish to have someone help you write your own vows?

(congratulations by the way )

Yes, why not? If you're referring to physical attraction, sure it counts for something. But things like that are temporary. What counts is what a persons temperment is and your compatibility in other ways. You can get a good sense of this without seeing someone or meeting face to face. (assuming s/he is also honest of course) Unfortunately that still doesn't mean it will work.

sure, but the differences are minor. 'thou shalt have no God before me'
I think that's one of the ten commandments in christianity.
But the idea is the same.

Hello everyone,
I'm very new to Turkish and very grateful for this site. I've had many offers for help and friendly conversation from lots of great people here and on other sites. It's been a wonderful experience and I'm sure I've made some real friends.
A couple times though, I've spoken to people who seem to have the wrong impression. (no one here)
What I'd like to be able to say, in a nice way, is:
I don't have a boyfriend
I don't want a boyfriend
friends only
I'm sorry
I prefer my independence

lol, could someone please help me out?
Thanks,
Tia
