Why is Tami deleted for saying "Christian Nazis" when people have regularly used the words "Muslim Terrorists". A regular member here once even said to Tami "are you taking flying lessons while you are in the US". Why is that acceptable?
I dont often agree with Tami´s posts and resent being called both ´Christian´ and ´Nazi´, but it is clear to me that the only reason he does that is in retaliation for the global use of the words "Muslim" and "terrorist" when referring to anyone from certain countries in the east. If we resent it when he returns the favour, then we should look to ourselves first.
The new rules of "Zero Tolerance" leaves us with a very vague set of rules to follow, i.e. if someone "finds something offensive" the post is deleted. This depends on the thickness of skin of cetain members surely? With regard to swearing, there is no determination as to whether swearing is banned completely (in which case most mods should be deleted too!!!). In summary, I see no change whatsoever, other than an increase in ambiguity.

Well some people were offended - which was why he was deleted the first time round and he was warned when he returned but chose to ignore the warning.
And to AE - Tami is not from one of the ´countries in the east´ that people tend to cite when talking about terrorists, neither is he - on his own admission - a muslim. There are plenty of TC members who are both muslim and from one these countries but I don´t see any of them spouting ´christian nazi´ all over the place. And you say it´s Tami´s reaction to the global use of the words ´Muslim´ and ´Terrorist´ together - have you really seen that much of it in TC?? As far as I can see, any anti-Muslim feeling in TC seems to be almost solely concerning the treatment of women.

The issue with Tamtam is that he was not actually interested in debate, discussion or education. He is interested in inciting people and clearly too many people took his bait. Problem is, he wasn´t/isn´t the only one doing it.
Handsom always incited but was not taken to task for it (as far as anyone here could see) because his views seemed to be more "popular". Was the difference that he contributed to the forum in other ways and tami didn´t???
And Ros....another who is famous for inciting things with her cut-and-paste posting method.....quite similar to tami but again, more popular viewpoint???
People are too thin skinned. It´s really quite simple people.....if you don´t like what someone posts, don´t read it.
Do I care if someone calls me a christian or a nazi....hell no.....because I know I am neither.
