Your teacher is not quite right.

You could easily say about myself for example:

Amanda is from England, infact she is from Leeds.
or
Amanda is from England, actually she is from Leeds.
both are acceptable uses.

Oh - that would be no good for me-I like my man to cook and clean and sometimes I like to go out with my girlfriends and get very drunk and then come home late and demand that he wake up and satisfy my needs!!

This would not go down well with the Turkish male then????

Well done L I was thinking to reply to this one but I couldn't work out what the difference was as they are interchangable. You explained it perfectly!

Of course every life needs balance.
When I am with my children I am with them totally and everything I do is for them.
When I am at work I am completely absorbed in a job I love.
If I am with friends I am there with them completely.
If I am with a lover I am there with abandon.

Everything is important work, home, play, study I wouldn't want to give up anything!! Why should I just because I am female

I am trying to get it together to come to Turkiye for the Solar Eclipse. I have found one tour with "Fez Bus" but it is a seven day tour so with a stopover night in Istanbul at each end of the tour it will be nine days and I am looking to spend less time as I want two weeks in Olu Deniz in eraly Summer.
Does anybody know of any guided tours that last maybe three days so I can spend five days in Turkiye-two nights in Istanbul and two nights at a good spot for Eclipse watching!
