Maybe because they treat a woman like something precious and fragile? Maybe because honor and principles mean so much to them? Or is it cause they show their affection and they are not afraid to use words of love?
Living in a European country, has made me suffer the consequences of feminism. Here in Greece, less than in other european countries ofcourse, women are considered equal to men. This has advantages and disadvantages. Ofcourse women have their own careers and are independant. And ofcourse men are helping them with householding, with raising up the kids etc. And this is great, till a point. There is always a thin line between normal and paradox. And I m afraid we have crossed this line. Here, the past few years at least, the woman has become the hunter and man the terrified prey.
I m a woman of 2000s, who loves her independance and who is living her own life, making her own decisions and hates being ruled by anybody. But when men are the subject, I think i become a bit traditional.
I want to be chased, I want to know that I have a man next to me and not a pussy cat. I want to be able to talk serious matters and take important decisions with him. I want to remember that i am a female for God's sake! Cause so far, I ve been the one wearing trousers in my relationships.
European men have become soft, fragile and impassible. So Turks look like Heaven compared to them. Ofcourse there are exceptions here, as in any other rule. But the majority is like this i m afraid....
