suppose you're not a religious person, chances are that you would have no idea that there could be a religious meaning behind that name, right? Would you blame someone for not having had a religious upbringing and hence being ignorant about certain things?

You don't still understand. What has religion got to do with it? That name happens to have such a meaning.

Nobody has any right to make fun of a name whether it has a meaning he/she likes or not

The right I have. Who will forbid me? If it's nice, that's another question.

If you don't see anyting wrong with making fun of people there is nothing to be said.

And if I don't remember wrong, Trudy, you are a teacher, aren't you? I wonder how you would react in case one of your students makes fun of another.

O, that depends of what kind of fun. To me teaching itself is a serious matter but the way it's done is not always. My students and I have a lot of fun together, sometimes also about what one is saying, looks like and so on. They make fun of me too (happily they do, I don't want to be a chagrin).

No offence Qdemir but did Elisa's friend really make fun of his name? He only said that was his real name! he did not say it was funny or make a remark on it! if you read the post properly you would have seen that!

Well, they do and I do too. Especially when names mean in the different languages something. They don't bother like you do, I don't.

Well Qdemir are you going to answer my question or is your silence an admittance that you were wrong?
