A lot of people helped me but most grateful I am to Ayla for all her corrections of the many homework I posted (and at the speed of Mr. Gonzalez himself lol).

Ayla: çok teşekkürler!

I'm really grateful to anyone who has shared their experiences. It's so relieving to find other people who are in the same boat as me (raltionship-wise) and that we can help eachother and gain from one anothers experiences.
Also thanks fo anyone who has translated something from me. Hopefully I'll be able to return the favour to newbies in the future.

i think i felt here like home, everyone has helped me here, and if im going to say names i think the list will be quite long .

but i think the most effective help that i had recieved was from SLAVICA at the first days here i think she just showed me the way to study and to make progress so i wanted to say thanx so much to her and ofcourse for all of you.
i hope a happy new year for all.

For me, the most helpful member of 2006 was Erdinc - by far- with over 1000 posts this year, all concerning grammar and language. Agreeing with his general points of view or not, is irrelevant to his contribution to this site. Also Mltm's posts were much of a help, for those who were studying grammar.

As for the help in translations, whenever I lay my eyes on a request, the names of the ones to translate are either Ayla or Derya. So, I guess they deserve our gratitude most.

(For the new members, the help is probably coming from other sources. But if we wanna talk about the whole 2006 in TC, then we have to count the contribution of old members who may not be around much anymore)
