For me, the most helpful member of 2006 was Erdinc - by far- with over 1000 posts this year, all concerning grammar and language. Agreeing with his general points of view or not, is irrelevant to his contribution to this site. Also Mltm's posts were much of a help, for those who were studying grammar.

As for the help in translations, whenever I lay my eyes on a request, the names of the ones to translate are either Ayla or Derya. So, I guess they deserve our gratitude most.

(For the new members, the help is probably coming from other sources. But if we wanna talk about the whole 2006 in TC, then we have to count the contribution of old members who may not be around much anymore)

I have been a member of this site for about a year now and wanted to thank all the ‘old’ classmates here who have made me laugh, cry and supported me through good and bad. I never met such wonderful group of people anywhere, let alone on a website, before. Some of that “wonderful” feeling has been absent from this site in recent months, but I have made TRUE friends through this site, so it always has a place in my heart.

Have a wonderful New Year everyone and hope all your wishes come true in 2007

I forgot Erdinç! How could I? He has such an important place in this site! we all owe him so much and yes Canli he has one unique style to explain turkish grammar ( just like Aslan2 whose explanations are awesome too!)What a pity he is not here as much as we would like to!

Also my good friend "leameus" (you are so helpful to me really !!), "Uykusuz" and of course my great friend Anil although he is not here anymore but he taught me a lot about turkish grammar and culture so if you ever read this, a big "Thank you" goes stright to you!

Thank you for your words Canli !! (I am a bit emotional today!!)...
I found here one unique place and group of people , NO SITE I have ever been a member of can be compared to this...PLEASE let's keep it friendly
Greetings from Latin America! and HAPPY NEW YEAR 2007 !!

Dilara
