how can you say " east hate us" ? ...how can you generalise and if you think so you have no right to say anything against if any eastern say " west hate east" because you just did the same..

OK apologies - but I GENUINELY have NEVER met anyone from the east who can say anything nice about the "west" other then our movies and music! (Of course, some countries hate those too...thinking they are evil!).
I can only judge by the people I have met here and in my country

I think it is very easy to feel like we are hated here in the West. 9/11 and 7/7 happened to us...so I think it is obvious why we feel that way. We are hated in our own countries by people who come here to escape their country because of horrible conditions. Really, I am trying to understand, how can you not see why we feel this way?

Most people here lately hate only USA..not western and its culture..turkish used to like US before Iraq were..but as you can guess we have a common history with Iraq so you cannot expect people here to think good things about US until they go back to america. this is human nature..it is not about being western or eastern.it would be the same if any war like that happened in Canada ( for example)

I choose to remember the good that happened on that day.......
The main vision that sticks in my head to this day is how people banded together to do what they could to help....it was plain to see in Manhattan where volunteers risked their own lives going into those buildings….with many of them never coming back out.
But it wasn’t just in Manhattan, it was all over America, people were taking action doing other things. I work at a blood bank and I will never, ever forget the thousands of people lined up around our building that day, waiting hours and hours and hours to donate a pint of blood..…for them, that was the one thing they thought they could do to help. We did not close our doors all night. It was incredible.
To me, that is the true tribute to that day and a true testament of the good in people. At work, every year on 9/11, we have a moment of silence and every year, we have a larger than usual turn out of blood donors honoring those that were lost on 9/11 and those who are lost in other events around the world every day.

Saying goodnight is not a good way to debate  ! I DO see what you mean, but if you blame us for actions of our governments, is it not fair to blame YOU for actions of YOUR government?
Turks have made A LOT of money from supplies to US soldiers. How do you feel about that?

It is easy to forget the good things that the USA does in the world. It is funny how the evil deeds of a few years can erase so much good. We are not evil people and to say that people hate the US is just a bunch of crap...they still come her in droves from everywhere in the world and are quite happy to take our money!!
