Note from the translator: What are you sending him? Icecream? Cold turkey?
Your message sounds nearly as cold.

Should be good for him...if you expect him to run a high fever, after the operation.
The way you address him, "Hasan", will definitely remind him the old Sergeant Major from his army days...

You might want to correct the spelling (that is use the Turkish characters) to make it even more perfect
And I don´t get your point either, I didn´t think the message was cold at all.

To be perfect I think it needs to be written with Turkish characters.

Starting your note with "Dear Hasan" will stop him from asking to be put to sleep.

my boyfriend and i are super cheesy...he calls me his white trash american white girl all the time. and i dont think any of our jokes are translateable lol his english is really really good though (sometimes better than mine) and the turkish note is just to show him a litle extra effort.

You know, cheesy in English = passionate in Turkish. In principal, there is nothing wrong with that... in fact, it can be quite captivating for some. Problem is this passion is often like a match. It bursts into huge, hot flame when you strike it, then it goes cold quickly....
