 Where is the letter â on turkish keyboard? Or on this site when you right the messages near the other turkish characters ?

 We don´t use accent on a´s anymore... according to Turkish Language Council... so hala is not wrong!!!

 Merih THAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNKKKKKKKKKKKKS

You have just saved me hundreds of hours when preparing power points for my lectures at Bahçeþehir University: it takes ages to put the hat on the a every time I write kar or karlýlýk so my students don´t get profit and snow confused!

I just checked the tdk website, and you are right. They do show hala with hats as meaning still. But they also give hala without hats meaning hala with hats. Maybe I need to paste it for this to make sense:

hala    Ar. ¬¥le

Well I AM SORRY too but the only difference is Hese and hese´´nin, you are correct about that but hapiste or hapishanede is both possible, the rest of the translation is the same trust me, so whats to sound not right at all ?????

Ooops what have I caused here! It´s been a while since I signed in my Turkish Class account...

Sorry Melike, you´re right, our translations are more or less the same. The part that doesn´t sound right at all is the nedeni part, which is in brackets anyway. I am sorry I didn´t consider what I said might have upset you.

As for why nedeni is not right, object of the verb bilmek needs to take the accusative, so it should be nedenini bilmiyorum...

I am sorry again to have upset you. I didn´t mean to. Seems like you´re learning Turkish, and you´re doing a very good job.

Best wishes,

Sumru

 I just noticed now that 18th is even funnier. You should start to use â not to cause a misunderstanding.{#emotions_dlg.lol_fast}

TDK is funny. some years ago they decided not to use the "^". So everyone got used to not using it. then they decided to use again since it causes a lot of confusions.
