I don't understand anything of economics, so i don't actually understand whether this is good or bad for the Lira
But i heard on the radio that this year Türkiye's tourist industry is having -60% bookings, compared to last year This is because of the people's fear for terroristic attacks and because of birdflu.

Well, I'm not an economic expert either, but if the money of a country is losing its value, this is definitely not a good economic sign because your money becomes just a paper outside your country, but sometimes they cause a temporary fake decrease in the value intentionally for other reasons. It's a complex boring subject.Especially turkish economy is not easy to understand.
But, what I know is, now my school payment has increased 11% in one day for me.
I hope this is temporary, wouldn't want another crises...

Oh because now you have to pay more Liras in order to get the right amount of Euros to pay for your course?
I have to pay to the course in Dollars, also such a weird thing. But last time, i paid the 150$ just in Euros, and once i'm there i'm gonan try if i can't just pay in Liras.

yes, it's exaclty the reason because our salary is in liras. and it's just the other way for you, now Türkiye is cheaper for you

Hmm yeah.. till I start making Turkish money
But that day is pretty far from here
May i ask what you pay for your course? I suppose it's comparable to one acadamic year, the length of the course?

Thanks Kadir
I cannot see the pic.
100$ isn't bad, but 1000 is much better for sure

If one semester equals a period from september - june (environ...).. then it's quite normal for West Europe college-fees. For me indeed, Türkiye is much cheaper. For one year of education here i would have to pay about 2000 euros, and this course is around 900
I'm still not sure whether i'll offer my parents to pay the course myself or to pay a laptop myself
But seeing the fact that Ramayan is giving them away for free..
