Hmm, it's for one semetre around 1800euro, but just for the course, the residence is not included.

If one semester equals a period from september - june (environ...).. then it's quite normal for West Europe college-fees. For me indeed, Türkiye is much cheaper. For one year of education here i would have to pay about 2000 euros, and this course is around 900

I'm still not sure whether i'll offer my parents to pay the course myself or to pay a laptop myself
But seeing the fact that Ramayan is giving them away for free..

No, one semester is from september to february and there're holidays.
Yes, yours is quite cheap.
Well, as I'm not working, my parents are going to pay all , but I'll get a residence aid from the French government, and I'm planning to have a part-time job there, since I cannot live like a parasite all my life

Ohh, yeah that's really expensive then! But i always think like this: when you pay a high amount of money for something you really want, that amount only hurts the 3 seconds that you pay it, and once you get in return what you want so much, you already forgot how expensive it was

Wow that's quite 'generous', that they give residence-aid in France!! I won't get it, I don't really mind that Turkey isn't giving me any, they have enough other thigns to spend their money on i'd say, but i can't stand that Dutch government doesn't wanna pay my scolarship. In Holland i'd get 300euros a month from government for university next year. And now they give me nothign because Turkey is not yet on their list But maybe in 2 years will be

I'm sure a part-time job will be nice and definitely increase your daily knowledge on French! I'm quite dissapointed i can't work in Turkey, part-time, Kadir wouldn't let me, government dóesn't let me anyway.

And it's one of the cheapest ones in France. And your way of thinking is right, once you get the thing you want very much, you forget its price, but I think this one is going to take a bit more than 3 seconds But I think the money you pay for education and self development is worth the money you pay. For what we're saving our money then, just for cars or houses??
And France is good for aids, they pay more than half of the rent of any french citizen (not the foreigns..)
And Holland is not bad either, 300 per month is very good. If Turkey were in the EU, they would pay it as well then?
I wonder if you can work as a EU citizen in any EU country? The fact that Turkey is not in EU yet makes all the problem for you I guess

yes, well 300 euros was approximately, i think it should be around 280, but well.. that's 300 But it's actually not that much.. because you can barely pay your rent with it. So if it doesn't even cover all your rent, then how are you gonna eat, pay your study, get dressed etc.. Many students in Holland complain about the price of studentlife.

Well the problem is that, i'm gonna do my entire study in Türkiye. If i would only do a master or one year there in an Erasmus programme, i would be connected to a Dutch uni and therefore have right to get the scolarship. But i won't be connected to Holland in educational ways anymore, so they won't pay for me. But recently they have made a list, because they noticed many students wnat to study abroad entirely. Unfortunately, Turkey is not in their list because the education-level of Turkish unviersities, doesn't match Dutch standards. But I read they might make a new rule: You must apply to a dutch organisation for education with your study and university in Turkey, and they will check if their level is up to standard, and if it is, you will still get a little scoralship. But that will start in 2007 i guess. I've been told EGE is a good unviersity, so i hope i stand a chance!

Yes true, if Türkiye was in EU, it would all be a lot easier. Also, i think Holland will have more confidence in Turkey once it is joining, which will make agreements, acceptances etc easier for all sorts of things.

What do you mean with being a EU citizen and being able to work in any EU country?

I mean, can you just go and work in France, Italy, Germany etc. just like in your country?

Hmm i actually don't even know, but i guess so. I was asked for a summerjob in Italy once. And when i go on holiday in the EU, i never need a visa. But i guess there is more to than just that. Because of taxes and insurrances and so forth.

Yes, not all the Turkish universities are the same. There're universities in which the education standards are as high as the ones in Europe. And, you can apply in 2007 then, because as you heard, Ege Üniv. is a high quality university.
In Turkey, you can get a scolarship for outside studies just if you have a very very high mark and if you can't afford it.
And maybe for now your government is right on their side, because they say: "you prefer going to do your study in a country where the education level is lower, and so it's your dumbness and we cannot afford it"
