Deli, you are one of the best turkish learner on this site. Your Turkish is great , believe me. Dont be discouraged by Acute´s inconsiderate words.  And keep up good work..you are near to be fluent in Turkish unlike others who are  preferring easy way [speaking  English].

You are amazing.

Smile

Thanks for your kind words tunci and harpoon , yes I have been on this site for seven years and yes I still have problems with the language but that person knows nothing about me ,my life my circumstances and in seven years of being on this site I have never felt this discouraged before, in my opinion if you have nothing nice to say dont say anything at all.

I am a slow learner is that any reason to make judgements about me, but I am still here everyday plodding away and I will conquer.

I dont know acute but I am sure he or she, as it dosent wish to show its gender cant be Turkish because I have only had positive remarks made from all the Turks on this forum ,which I must also say has reduced dramatically in the SEVEN years I have been on this site and I miss them , so I say come back turks you are greatly missed.

I never usually get involved with negative stuff on here but I needed to say my piece.

By the way acute, I wish you every success with your learning Turkish and lets hope you learn quicker than me

Deli please don´t be discouraged. As you said we have different circumstances I for one have been affected by illnesses over the last 10 years, which has weakened me in different ways.

So don´t let anyone upset you. Oh Good Luck to Acute . Life is far too short to start wars.

deli, your posts always cheer me up. I never start a translation task if you are online because I know you do it better. Maybe it was bad humour, that´s all.

Don´t be upset deli. I also studied English 7 years in the school. But I started to speak ten years later. So you are quicker than me. Take care.

We have a saying in Turkish , " Görünen köy klavuz istemez " --> "The visible village requires no guide " in other words if you can see the village then you dont need a guide to go there.

in another words your talent, your determination and willingness in learning Turkish is visible. I ve been on this site since January , what I observed until now is that you are always help learners by translating e-t,t-e. and trying  complicated texts  bravely..your help to others  is undeniable.  On this site there is no room for discouragement. We all need to encourage eachother. I am sure acute is feeling regretful for his remarks. I am waiting him to apoligize you and others

Aferin azimli arkadaşım sana !!
