Acute: Deli was just trying to get a nice and polite translation so that her notice would have the greatest effect and not offend anyone. She was being thoguhtful. That is clear from the title "need to get it right." I am sure she could have written something herself, with her level of Turkish, but wanted it to be superb. Which is what she got from the 2 translators.

I wish that Turks writing official documents in English would just check with native speakers too. The Sigortacılık Daire of TC Hazine has just published a report on life insurance in Turkey that spells the word "foreign" three different ways on one page! They needed to be like Deli and check

actually bydanad I was neither embarrassed nor was I looking for any additional comments from you. But you seem to find the need to continue to bash and a need to validate who you are on this site. Basically you can go piss up someone else´s tree. I did not add any further comments because I did not want this to continue into something it should not of become.But you just did that a second time. I only said in the beginning I was shocked that deli needed help on a simple sentence and now I understand why. I did not bash her nor did I try to. It was just a comment that being such a long standing member on here to ask for help on a simple sentence, was rather shocking to me and I wondered if I would ever be able to get to any reasonable level of turkish in a shorter time. Seven years learning seemed rather a long time to not be able to put a few words together or trust her level of turkish.
