actually bydanad I was neither embarrassed nor was I looking for any additional comments from you. But you seem to find the need to continue to bash and a need to validate who you are on this site. Basically you can go piss up someone else´s tree. I did not add any further comments because I did not want this to continue into something it should not of become. But you just did that a second time. I only said in the beginning I was shocked that deli needed help on a simple sentence and now I understand why. I did not bash her nor did I try to. It was just a comment that being such a long standing member on here to ask for help on a simple sentence, was rather shocking to me and I wondered if I would ever be able to get to any reasonable level of turkish in a shorter time. Seven years learning seemed rather a long time to not be able to put a few words together or trust her level of turkish. By the way is this how you validate yourself on here by making derogatory remarks? No wonder you have had 3 different names old man. Now go play some bocci ball or something and leave this be you´ve had your few minutes of famous fence sitting.

Do you think I have been sitting in front of this damn screen for seven years, I do have a life you know

There is no need to argue more. Everybody made his/her point. There is only one fact. Learning a language is not easy and it can take some time. This shouldn´t make you scare. After all these years sometimes I feel my English really sucks. And while I am translating texts I look at dictionary many times. Everybody should keep going on. We are here to help you.

Deli´s score is not high when compared to tunci´s! She posted 5345 posts in a period of seven years and tunci 2444 in a period of eleven months or so..this means tunci will make it (inşallah) 17200 in 2017 and it will be at least 3 times more than deli´s, and we will be right if we think tunci spends at least half of his life infront of the screen of his tired laptop
a note for deli: You are the gem of this forum and I love you

After Tunci had come, I requested my retirement from Turkish Class. I thought I was fast but then I realised it was a turtle´s speed when it was compared with Tunci´s. Now I do this translating thing as a hobby

No wonder my ears were ringing like there is no tomorrow.. You guys [Gök and Scalpel ]thanks for your kind thoughts but I am neither good nor faster than anyone. I am someone who is trying to serve Turkish. [note :Scalpel benle dalga geçmeyi sever.. ]
btw Deli listen, You are such a clever girl and keep on good work.
My teacher at high school used to say ; Learning a language is like an ocean, it never ends.
Not all Turks really know the whole Turkish language. Even we,Turks is learning new words and things in Turkish.

In my opinion, all of you who voluntarily spend your time here helping learners are excellent ambassadors of your country.
