I´ve been here long enough to see many personal fights. I suppose it´s normal to get carried away when two contrasting views clash. However, what I find fascinating is how come every time TheHandsom posts an opinion or an article, there´s sudden hatered of him among Turkish users, most of whom, generally never insult other users.

I don´t think anyone but TheHandsom has had his origin questioned, hidden agenda insinuated and his senses insulted in a straightforward way; not ot mention being told to shut up numerous times.

Not that he always responds in a polite and calm manner. But I´m curious why his fellow-countymen get so agitated by his posts.

DD i don´t want to begin a new conflict. Please thehandsom you don´t do that too!

Bydand, I actually got a different impression. It seems to me, the dislike for him stems from the fact that he dares to criticise his country really hard and most Turkish users try to ridicule him rather than his ideas. Anyway, seems he was right in the "Women cannot marry men..." thread after all

Oeince - nobody was arguing in the thread but you. The way we debate here is not about personal comments and suggestions to see a shrink or having an inferiority complex. We exchange ideas - if you prove your point, fine. If you don´t - tough luck. You got angry at Vineyard because you found his comment rude, but the moment you realised it was aimed at Handsom, not you, you no longer found it rude but rather justified. How fair is that? If it was rude to you, isn´t it rude towards everybody else?

Oh, and I have proven my point in that thread. Turns out I am not a liar, nor have I twisted Alameda´s words. Not to mention the fact that I did not insult her. Don´t you think you owe me an apology for calling me guilty of all 3?

There´s a huge difference between disagreeing with someone´s opinions and insulting this person. I somehow feel your hostility towards me and I think I know which thread it is coming from. I am sorry if you feel I wrongly accused you of plagiarism, but I just expressed my doubt as to your being the author, judging by your level of English.

However, thats true we think differently in a lot of issues, as well as the last thread issue and my reaction. I didn´t like Vineyard´s words in order i thought, he defends the attacker. Not because he turns to be rude. And after i understood the issue, i corrected those. And i told i think the same way with him. This is rather called consistency.

But please just check from the page 6 to 8. He was always like that and even more. Thats why i react him hardly. Because, i think he deserves that.

Thanks for congratulations But I still think you pushed it. I don´t think you were right suggesting all these bad things. It didn´t bring anything into the discussion about the subject, nor did it bring you two closer to reaching an agreement. TC charter says personal issues should be dealt with in private. True we often break rules here, but the exchange between you two was way beyond civilised.

I know TheH for a long time on this site, if you see his number of posts you understand he´s an experienced user. I don´t think it was necessary for you to get into a debate that had nothing to do with you and do backseat moderating. That´s my opinion!

I´m not defending Handsom, that´s not my job. I´m just saying that you pushed it. he didn´t give in and it ended in an unpleasant exchange. Next time, also, please try to avoid inciting anger. If you don´t like somebody´s post - answer to the point and if you cannot prove somebody wrong, but can´t ignore it, report him to the mods.

I don´t think TheHandsom had a point thinking Vineyards insulted him. After all, he was talking about facts crucial to the discussion. Still, it doesn´t change the fact that he didn´t deserve to read your words to him. It reminded me of playground fights...
