Thanks for congratulations But I still think you pushed it. I don´t think you were right suggesting all these bad things. It didn´t bring anything into the discussion about the subject, nor did it bring you two closer to reaching an agreement. TC charter says personal issues should be dealt with in private. True we often break rules here, but the exchange between you two was way beyond civilised.
I know TheH for a long time on this site, if you see his number of posts you understand he´s an experienced user. I don´t think it was necessary for you to get into a debate that had nothing to do with you and do backseat moderating. That´s my opinion!
I´m not defending Handsom, that´s not my job. I´m just saying that you pushed it. he didn´t give in and it ended in an unpleasant exchange. Next time, also, please try to avoid inciting anger. If you don´t like somebody´s post - answer to the point and if you cannot prove somebody wrong, but can´t ignore it, report him to the mods.
I don´t think TheHandsom had a point thinking Vineyards insulted him. After all, he was talking about facts crucial to the discussion. Still, it doesn´t change the fact that he didn´t deserve to read your words to him. It reminded me of playground fights...
I´m sure you know that you attacked him first in this thread. And you were wrong.
Now, where´s my apology?
You may not think Vineyards did not insult me but it started with
vineyards says 05 Oct 2010 Tue 11:06 pm:
I believe there is nothing wrong with the reaction thehandom has shown. All is in line with the saying: People with little brains talk about other people.
I did not answer him at all..I was not arguing with him at all!!
later on he reminds his innuendo
06 Oct 2010 Wed 06:15 am I suggest you read my message again. There might be an innuendo hidden somewhere.
I still did not answer him..
and he quotes something from my post and says
07 Oct 2010 Thu 04:40 am Hey man. You sound like Captain America.
Then I start answering and asking why he is getting personal..
====
Maybe I am over sensitive. Maybe I am not..
But anyway.. It is tiring for sure..

And I read the thread, you come out as the rudest poster there, sorry!

Oeince, get over yourself. You firstly almost insult (not really, but getting close to it) a large group of people, and than get angry because somebody doesn´t react seriously to such a strange comment? What kind of a strange thing it is, to say most Westerners have a strange laugh... How many Westerners have you heard laughing? How many non-Westerners have you heard laughing? Have you heard a large enough sample of people laugh, to make laugh-related comments? Your strange post can only lead to a funny reaction, which you got. At least I thought it was funny, it made me laugh in my special Western way. So...like I said before... get over yourself, don´t take life so seriously, and how about laughing sometimes. In your own special Turkish way ofcourse, you don´t want to risk sounding like a hypocrite.
Such a silly argument! DD somewhere mentioned that it is stupid to come up with an argument as such as this.
I dont know many westerners or easterners but I will give my opinion on them. You call it stereotype or generalization.
Oeince does have a right to say anything he wants to say about westerners and whatever people or nation. So, keep this in mind, Ms. Poppins.

My response was also a joke, since Oeince is a research based person (ask him about his job He knows that he should´t draw conclusions too fast). I don´t have a problem with his strange, somewhat insulting comment. I have a problem with him getting angry with somebody who made a joke about his comment. Oeince took it all too serious in my opinion. Or can´t I express this opinion now? Anyway, nice how this thread turned serious again, like every other thread... I guess it´s something non-westerners do, they always get hurt ego´s over jokes... perhaps that´s why non-westerners don´t laugh so much

BM, I think your imagination about me doesn´t reflect my whole qualities.
My life is based on having and giving, spreading joy. And i like to lough a lot but not in the middle of an injustice situation.
Why dont you go check my posts? You will see that many of them is written to have fun.
BTW, i guess i met an amount of "Westerns" that is statisticly consistent to build up personal ideas.

I thought your reaction to Adam´s comment was over reacted, so I responded. The guy was just making a joke. You actually didn´t bite my head of for the response I made, but Lemon did So my last post was towards Lemon. But you have already lightened this thread up, so we don´t have any issues And look at that, a laugh It IS possible!

I have a problem with him getting angry with somebody who made a joke about his comment.
Even if it was a joke, its timing and word selection was not great. Its clear that i wasn´t in a mood to enjoy a joke those moments.

I think, ´trying to tie every single problem happening in the areas where Kurds are living, to the feudalism´ is very much related to Turkish series!!!
Some people watch those series and see the feudalism in them -or we call it asiret system - they think, that is how all the Kurds are living!! (same people, they watch valley of wolves -Kurtlar Vadisi- and believe its imaginary contents too!!!)
Phew!!!

If X claims that the Z watches some serials, but the Z has never watched them, How would X been characterized? (Beware that X has no idea about Z´s daily life while answering)

If X claims some people watch some tv series, how would X be characterised?
If X drives a green sedan at 50mph on a country road, what effect does it have on the religiousness of penguins in the Antarctic?
If two people are going towards each other with constant speed and have 100m to go, what colour is the flower that X bought Z on their first date?
If X told me that Y had been to Z and mentioned me to A, would Z give me a good character but say I could not swim?
Offfff...questions, questions....
