Yep I have lots of turkish friends from various tourism places I've visited that I still keep in contact with. They always brag on about how they've got three (plus) girlfriends, which to begin with was just a joke. However a barman I knew that said he had two, actually did have two. And they both arrived in Marmaris on the same week to see him, I witnessed a lot of shouting . Well if such a thing happened to you, I hope you didn't become too attached.

Iluvhim,
I'm not an expert on relationships, but I'm thinking since men who are involved in tourism meet so many women in their daily work they become tempted. Temptation can be a terrible thing, if you don't make the right moral decision. They think it's alright to have a one night fling, they will never see them again. I have male Turkish friends who are in the tourism business and we have had private discussions on sleeping partners. One of them had told me he had slept with over 200 women, when he worked for a hotel. I was honestly disgusted with his actions. He stated that he was young and inexperienced at the time and his uncle encouraged such actions, so he did. To meet him you would never imagine this and today he is so ashamed of it. You are right not all men are like this, but most of them are. If your trying to have a relationship with a Turkish man, you may look outside of the tourism business. Again this is just my opinion.

P.S. Maybe change your user name to Iloathhim.

I agree with you completely Teaship. And...would like to add that it is not just Turkish tourism workers who are infamous! It is well known in most countries that young men working in this industry have a very "good time" during their working life Personally I wouldn't touch a waiter or barman with a bargepole lol!

I look at it from their point:

They are male, lots of hormones charging around, women in next to nothing or topless, flirting.

What would you do if you were a man?

What of the girls trying to have sms messages translated into English on the translation forum? If they mutually can not speak even a simple sentence in each other's language, what do you think they share in their relationships? Body language do not work out of the bedroom. I think they get what they want to get (for both). They are the ones who call Bodrum as bedroom.
