thank you... i give up.

Instead of giving up, learn from your mistakes and study more. Not everything is easy in this life.

After more than ten years I still make mistakes when I write in English. There is no end to learning.

I know how you feel. You may have completely understood a grammar point and still you make mistakes while putting it into practice. Trivial mistakes are embarassing. It is not enough to learn a new thing, you also have to make it a routine. That means repeating and repeating.

Don´t worry, your Turkish is a thousand times better that their Serbian.

Translation practice, could someone please take a look?

A rare two-faced kitten has been born in Oregon. The animal which has two faces and one body is known as a Janus. Its owner Durkee says she did a double take when she discovered the newborn.

"This morning the kids actually found them and came in and said, ´Mom there´s a kitty with two heads´, and I said ´I think you guys are just tired, you´re crazy, that doesn´t happen.´"  “Bu sabah çocuklar gerçekten onları bulmuş ve yanıma girip ‘İki yüzlü bir kedi var’ dedi. Ben ‘Yorgunsunuz galiba, kafayı yediniz olsa gerek, böyle şeyler olmaz’ diye cevap verdim.”

The kitten which has been named Duecy has been examined by a vet and everything seems to be in good working order. Although after being rejected by her mother, it´s down to the owner to feed the kitten with a syringe and keep her warm with a heating pad.

I believe you but I wish I could understand...

Let´s say

                             top çocuğa verildi

ok?

Then, is it both

                             çocuğa verilen top

                             AND top verilen çocuk    ?

Yes, but isn´t it somehow illogical that the verb takes the same form verilen even though top is the subject of the original sentence top çocuğa verildi and çocuk is only the indirect object of it?

I think it only proves that participles are much more flexible than finite verbs.

Thank you for your help, gokuyum.

A detective inspector and a police constable are talking to the people at the theatre.

Inspector: So,Miss May,you shot John Russell. Did you know that there were real bullets in the gun?
Fiona: Of course not,Inspector. We always use blank bullets.
Inspector:Who normally puts the bullets in the gun?
Stage manager:I do.
Inspector:Can you show me how you do it?
Stage manager:Yes,of course.Like this.
Inspector:Thank you. And did you put blank bullets in the gun this evening?
Stage manager:Yes,I did.The director saw me. Didn´t you?
Director:Yes ,that´s right,Inspector.

Dedektif müfettiş ve polis memuru tiyatrodaki insanlarla konuşuyorlar.

Müffetiş:Yani,May hanım,John Russell´e vuran sizsiniz.Tabancada gerçek kurşunlar olduğunu biliyor muydunuz?
Fiona:Bilmiyordum, tabii ki. Biz her zaman boş kurşunları kullanıyoruz.
Müffetiş:Normalde kim kurşunları tabancaya koyar?
Rejisör:Ben.
Müffetiş:Bunu nasıl yaptığını bana gösterebilir misiniz?
Rejisör:Evet,tabii.Böyle.
Müffetiş:Teşekkür ederim.Ya bu gece boş kurşunları koydunuz mu?
Rejisör:Evet, koydum.Yönetmen de beni görmüş. Değil mi?
Yönetmen:Evet,müffetiş,bu doğru.
