I was thinking about how we could practise your turkish here, and what I personally find very useful when I learn a language is trying to write some sentences on my own, and if there's someone to correct them, it's super!

So, what about writing a small praragraph in turkish on a given subject, and after we can correct them.

If you have the basics, whatever your level is, try to write your sentences and make a small paragraph...

For example on one of these subjects:

1) Yakın gelecek için planlarınız (your near future plans)
2) Unutamadığınız bir çocukluk anınız (one of your childhood memories that you can't forget)
3) Arkadaşlarınızla birlikte yapmaktan hoşlandığınız şeyler (the things that you like to do together with your friends)

I hope/believe we have members whose turkish is enough to write some sentences

bu biraz kolay değil mi?

İki haftadan sonra, kızımla tatile gideceğiz. Yeni Marmaris’te kalkacağiz. Bu Yunanlı bir denizli şehir, Türkiye’den mülteciler olusturdu. Orada Yunanistan’ın en güzel şehilleri var.

Daha önce, Sırbistan’a gitmek istiyorum çünkü orada Slavica beni bekliyor. Dedikodu yapmak istiyoruz

Sonunda, Ağustos ayida, Türkiye’ye gideceğim, ama nereye hiç bilmiyorum. İstanbul’un veya Antalya’nın, şimdiye kadar, karar veremedim.

Thank you Meltem. I was really ashamed of it, while posting it. Now I feel much better. I used to be good once, but it's been so long since then and now I m afraid I m forgetting even the easiest rules.
Anyway, back to the exercise.

Çok arkadaşlerim. Bazı Türk ama en çok İngiliz. Birlikte yemek ver içmek çok hoşlanırız. Sinema'ya bir de gidiyoruz. En çok sevilenin hep beraber konuşiyoruz. Arkadaşlerin çok seviyorum.

Merhaba!! Bu "website"e yeni geldim. Inşallah benim turkcem güzelestirecek. Geçen yil Istanbul'da yasiyordum ve bir az Türkce öğrendim. Pratik yapmak istiyorum.

1) Iyi hafta sonra benim kuzenim ziyaret etmek icin Portland'a gidecegim. O orada calisiyor ama ben Seattle'de oturuyorum. üc hafta sonra benim anababam beni ziyaret edecekler.

2) 10 yasindaydim (when I was 10? nasil denir?) ailemle Disneyland'a gittim. Mickey Mouse'yi gördüm ve annem bizi fotoğraf çektim. Bu zamanda çok mutluydum hatirliyorum.

3) Arkadaslarımla dans etmeye hoşlanıyorum. Ben de onlarla sinama'ya gitmeye hoşlaniyorum ve gezmeye seviyorum.
