I need to send a message to a friend as soon as I can. If I do it, it will take me most of the day, as I am just learning Turkish I am also at work......any help would be appreciated.

I am sorry that I haven't phoned, but I am very busy at work. It is our busiest time of year, and I am in the middle of arranging my boss's itinery to the far east in October, along with all my other duties here in the office.

I will call you this evening when I get home, and we can have a chat then xxx

I totally agree duskahvesi! I wouldn't let another woman look after my children, apart from my mother.

Would a typical Turkish wife be expected to cook, clean and look after her husband? Are they allowed to work once married? In torist areas you hardly ever see women working.

I would like to have the best of both worlds by holding down a full time job and also looking after the house.....with help from the husband of course

Oranda yanında değilim ama senin kalbinde, ruhunda, hayatındayım.

Means: I am not there next to you but I'm in your heart, your soul and your life.

I received the following message this morning, but I am having difficulty translating, as my Turkish grammar isn't good enough yet any help would be appreciated.

Selam kardes, nasilsin? Sahin abi burda ögley doğru ararsin görüsürüz kensine iyi bak-

what I do know from this is Selam, nasilsin and iyi that is all.
