According to This Lesson the term "güzelim" is only used for girls.

Why???

How would you show the same sort of compliment to a boy?

I know that first I have to get balance, but if only I could stay on my feet more than 5 sec . I don't try it outside because I don'T want people to see me like that. And you told me to sit down and hold somewhere? But shouldn't I stand up to do it?

Sit down and hold on to something firmly.
Then using your hands to stop you falling over - stand up!!!

Are there no circus skills groups near you that use a large hall or something - that is the ideal place to practice. Additionally, you will almost certainly find that there would be someone who can help you at such a group

Quoting Jabarcelona:

Hello everybody. I'm new here and also new studing turkish. Studing alone is not so good as some little conversation from time to time. I would like to find someone interested in this exchange, or others just studing turkish to share doubts and explanations, of course.

Thanks to the site, and to all of you. I hope to talk with you soon.

Welcome Jabarcelona,

You will quickly find that everyone on this site is really friendly and very willing to help you with learning Turkish. The forums are a bit like having a large number of pen-pals all at once

Good Luck

Cheers, Bod xxx

Today I bought inline skates, I tried them at home, but I found myself on the ground and couldn't get up again :=). So, how would I be able to learn it? Does any of you know how to do it, how did you start?

I'm no expert with in-line skates but I have several friends that are very very good! I understand that you should start off sat down next to something firm that you can hold onto to stop you falling over. Getting the balance right is the first part.......once you have that you sort of push off and away you go until you falln over lol

At home, is perhaps not the best place to try as it is a bit confined!!!
