of course. there would be a problem. it is not suitable for discourse. for example if you say "gel" it means you command sb strongly to come. if you say "gelesin" it means "I wish you came"
when you wish sth use İSTEK KİPİ
when you command sth use EMİR KİPİ

look guys,
im sure you all know that in english there is no proper "future tense" so i will explain this in a more informal way ok?

it will be easier to understand i think...

yarın gideceğim= im gonna go tomorrow
yarın giderim= ill go tomorrow
yarın gidiyorum= im going tomorrow

i hope this makes things a little clearer

why have i never heard these words actually used in conversation though? they are not commonly used are they?

What the hell is "Emir Kipi"!?! I have never heard this term...
Are those words there actually used.. I have never heard them.. I have seen them on some Turkish- learning- site before but it had a lot of mistakes on so I thought that may be one too!?

yeah it's ok if you do it with gelmek. and what about such verbs as sormak or almak or oturmak?
