Rain, having read what you said about people coming here after divorced speaking bull shit, i'm really very P***ed off with you

I'm dovirced and not one word of bull has come out my mouth. If you don't want to read the same old shit why do you come to the forum to read posts on the subject of "turkish lovers" - surely it tells you enough in the title!!spare yourself and me a headache stop moaning !!
Shit happens, i'm not speaking for everyone but i ceraintly konw that i feel a lot better about talking about my bad experience, and i am definetly not showing off or boasting about what happened to me... I wouldn't wish it on anyone, and i know i don't want you to feel sorry for me either... In order to move forward i tend to ened to justify whats happened. I know that any 2 men are not the same, no matter, culture, nationality or religion. Theres deffinetly nobody like you that's for sure!
P>S: if you don't like reading about LOVE, misfortune, Sex don't bloody read it!

awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww i feel so much better now, sorry if i just spoken a load of pants.

I do not judge if you have Eastern way of thinking or if you are old-fashinoned. To me, you just have a different perspective of looking at the issue and that's understandable.
Well, here comes the question: What is the definition of TRUE LOVE? That is a really cliche saying... The True Love... Even the people who believe in their "true love" -I am not saying all but God knows how many- get married and couple of years later or years after years later they get divorced. Don't these people believe in true love then? Or didn't they believe it at all? When you start a relationship you start with a positive mind and wishing and hoping that person is the one. It may work, it may not work... Nobody is to be blamed. You sometimes love more, sometimes less...But I just don't believe in the expression of "true love". Sorry...

hmmm...i didn't really want to get involved in talking about turkish lovers...but here is my 2 cents worth...

evet, i agree with you turkishgirll. i think when in any relationship you always think that the person you are with is your true love. but then when that relationship ends, there is the possibility you will move onto another relationship with someone else. so is this new person your true love now? but how can they be if your previous relationship was your true love?

getting back to the original post by turkishgirll...i have only been with one turkish partner so far. i found him to be charming, sweet, loving, and the loveliest guy. however, there were not so good traits in him, but i think all of us have not so good traits as well as the good. he was possessive, obsessive, acted like a child when he didn't get his way, and very full on.

however, that hasn't made me judge turkish people from this one person's actions because i don't think these characteristics are specific to any one group of people. they are relevant to all of us.

anyway, i have found another turkish man that i like very much, who is always on my mind, and i hope something can develop out of it...he is a little closer to me in many ways...in distance (living in same country) and also in attitude, way of life, life experiences, and how he was brought up. i do see in him the charm, the sweetness, and the passion. but i also know that there are not so good traits in him as well...but a watered down version compared to the previous guy.

Hi, I just wanted to say that in America we have guys who are also possessive, obsessive, abusive, rapists, charming, sweet, insecure, handsome, aggressive, violent, romantic, and so on. I beleive that we cannot judge ANY country on thse traits, as we all have them.

I myself have never been with a Turkish man, but I am speaking with two of them, both of whom fit into opposite ends of this spectrum. They are not my boyfriends, nor have I told either that I am their girlfriend, so don't take this wrong.

One is sweet, intellectual, romantic, charming, handsome, and considerate. Unfortunatley, he recently had an auto accident and has been held up in rehabilitation for almost a month now. The other somehow found me and has begun telling me I am his darling, and that I cannot talk to other men.. And strangley has offered to get me a job as an airline attendant?? I am a nurse! I have had to cut him off because of this. I only met him a week ago?!

So yes, I have seen both ends here from only two Turkish men.. but I have also seen the same in American men and Mexican men. Every human being has the capability of having ANY of these traits. It is unfortunate that people judge an entire country for a few men's bad deeds.

Human is an animal. Some animals are cold blooded and some are the opposite. God never distinguished between them then who are we to generalize about a particular breed of the humans?

God created this world as a single entity but we humans created boudries and its pathetic as to how we pass comments about each others breed.

Very well spoken!!! Kudos!!

You know, i have read alot about the "Turkish Resorts" and their waitors, etc... which of these resorts are most popular for this? Is this Antalya? I have seen pictures of this beach and it is beautiful.. My Turkish friend's cousin goes there ALOT... he is admittidly a "player", hehe.. he admits he is not loyal, and even hit on me! However, I told him I was interested in his cousin only.. he continued for two days, but then backed off.. nice guy however. I can only hope that he will report of my loyalty to his cousin, being that he is in the hospital. (No he hasn't asked me for money, he seems to have enough of his own... )

Anyway, my question is regarding what resorts specifically do these tourists tend to "fall in love" with the Turkish boys who are providing these "heartbreaking experiences"? This is sad..

in reference to your question sia, i don't think there is one specific resort renowned for this. i think there are a few. mostly the ones along the coast...antalya, marmaris, bodrum...having said that it could also happen in istanbul and other places too.
