Hi,

I personally wonder how a non-Turkish person regards a Turkish lover, what you see as the difference between your men-your women or Turkish men-Turkish women.
I am a Turkish girl but my boyfriend is American. I had only 1 Turkish boyfriend so far and I have lots of male Turkish friends but I realized the fact that the point of views and most of the things between me and Turkish men are just quite different. The rest of my boyfriends were non-Turkish ones: German, British and American.
It would be nice to hear your ideas and comments.

Well, the only Turkish boyfriend I had reacted so typical and negative that I hope he is not a role model to the others!

i think u get men who are good and bad from every country..so a relationship with a turkish man is no different to one from my own country..

i think there will be a broad spectrum of answers here as we are all different and of course our partners/lovers will also be different.
my own personal findings are that european men will say what they think are not scared of saying things that will upset and can behave in a disrespetful way but then i have seen people in such a happy blissful loving relationship that make me think what have i done wrong lol
Turkish men well ive only had one in my life and im marrying him he is much more reserved but so funny and will deffinately wont say anything to upset me or hurt me even if i deserve it lol i have actually persuded him to say things jokingly because it doesnt mean any harm in england but he stil sometimes finds it hard to accept, he is very very kind and loving which i never found in an english man but as ive said i have seen it in other relationships and its lovely to see
English men are not worried about swearing in front of women (well some) whilst Turkish men i have only ever seen to be totally respectful of the fact there are women about and they ensure their behaviour is appropriate.

Kind Regards

Jackie

I know you have good and bad everywhere but I have found that foriegn men (not american where I'm from) seem to think more before they speak unlike american men who will say what they know will upset. My fiance who is turkish has always been very respectful of my feelings more then anyone i have ever met ANYWHERE, almost to the point where he is scared to say some things that most people would say without even giving it thought. Its not just him either, any turkish man I've ever met is the same, very respectful with words. None of that "macho" be a jerk to look cool kind of thing. Thats just what I've found.... Lucky me

i totally agree with you two, the trouble with me is someone asks a question i asnwer it honestly perhaps i should stop and think before i write, also i am not tarnishing all men with the same brush as hopefully my comments in brackets predicts because if im considered to be the same as some women i have seen then i would be very upset indeed lol.
am i digging another hole for myself ?
i think i better get ready for work lol

Kind Regards
Jackie

Yes but they are not all the same!

I do agree 2 an extent xxx i have many male turkish friends and i have been lucky 2 have them....but at the end of the day there are some dangerous men lurking round in popular resorts of turkey.....they shud make it more known 2 young women of the dangers.

in marmaris there was an attack on a young girl everynight...because these young girls go on holiday...fall for their charm and end up bein attacked or forced 2 do things that they do not want 2 do xxx
