sorry, just got add my bit too .

I met my (X HUSBAND in england, we got married in Turkey, he already had his documents for the UK so that wasnt an issue, he then decided that one night stands would be acceptable, but i must leave the house, baring in mind i was the main bread winner (nooo sorry, i supported us and our 2 children, while he wandered round otwn with mates sitting in coffee houses whilst i paid a nanny!!!) believe had it been like that in the beginning i would never have gone to turkey to get married, so now approaching are 5 years anniversyary were divorced.thats with out mentioning the abuse, alcohol, violence i had to put up with towards the end!

However........ i love turks to pieces, i have a lot of turkish friends over here and in Turkey... i know that till i find/fall in love with mr right again (must be turk In the mean-time i wouldnt even consider dating an english guy...Theres bad a good guys /girls out there like robyn said..I dont like to judge as a whole we are all individuals... I LOVE YOU TURKEY )))

Never mind. It doesn't count as Turkey isn't a member state and is unlikely to join. However for a fair contest you should pick up just one out of every basket.

Turkisgirll,
You have 22 (EU members) to go then. Go for the full access to EU. We are backing you up.

Why stop with the EU? I mean there are 50 states in my country, and then you could do...say... MERCOSUR! We would all LOVE to read your index notes after your little experiment is done.

Well, for now I think I'll stop with the international stuff. I'll keep it home sweet home I think.

in turkey...marmaris partiucally....and u acnnot say that it doesnt happen in turkey becoz turkey and the uk have 1 of the highest ratings of rape in the world

I don't know the rate in England. However it isn't that high in Turkey. On what grounds and sources are you giving that rate in Turkey?

qdemir, why are you so ferociously denying these things??? I'd like to see YOUR sources on which you base your opinions!
it's a known fact that rape and infidelity is rampant in Turkey, especially in the touristic locations.
it's enough to get Turkish newspapers (not even magazines) to watch porn over there, so go figure how they behave. a lot of those guys are perverts who got used to double standards and then when western women visit and do sleep around, they judge them and have no respect for them.

I hate the term "easy girl". since when sleeping around is a problem for you guys? guys are the biggest sluts on the earth, but for some reason I haven't heard the term "an easy guy" used in the same negative way as it is for the women. god!! I'm so sick of the double standards... what is really so negative about "easy girls" is that they are free and men can't stand that, well.. a little more complicated then that, but whatever. I'm not talking here about women who sleep around for the sake of improving their self-esteem by feeling attractive to some slutty dude, but women who are free and choose who they sleep with and sleep who they want to sleep with!

I say - western women, go to Turkey, use and dump those bastards! (sure, some are not bastards and those deserve respect).

I can't stand women who embrace the idea that they are allowed less then men (in order to think that they are "good girls" or to get respect by obediently following the rules made by their male dominant society they live in...), and who let guys control their lifes and tell them what they should or shouldn't do.

+100000000!!!!!

Merhaba Turkishgirll!
I think that the girls here on TC might agree with me that turkish men are not like the other men. They talk sweet, are kind, caring, act like gentlemen and don't feel shy when expressing their feelings, even in love poems.. so we easily fell in love with them and think they are so close to the perfect man or the man of our dreams.
Unfortunately there is a big BUT..some of them might be honest or just big liars, as i personally met and you get your heart broken..BUT "every forest has its own dryness",so this is what i want to believe now, you can find good and bad people everywhere and maybe "my luck"was to meet one of the bad ones ..
Im not judging anyone here and also not putting all the turkish men in the same boat! This is my opinion based on my personal experience,so my advice to all the girls in love/having a relationship with a turkish man is this: please be careful, open your eyes, think not only with your heart but mostly with your brain because as far as i know there are no pills to heal a broken heart!!

Take care,
Maria

Well no, you are not judging anyone, but you ARE generalising ! Good advice, but it should be taken with ALL nationalities - why single out Turkish men?

Actually i am not generalizing at all, if you would have read some other topics that i wrote you might have thought differently now..If i was to generalize about turkish men, i wouldn't be here today on TC, i would have deleted my account some while ago and never again spoken to turkish people..My advice was referring to turkish men because i had a relationship with a turkish man and because i can only talk about things that i know and i have been through Anyway,i love Turkiye, the language, the people, culture, everything and they have a special place in my heart
Bytheway, if anyone is in a relationship with a romanian guy, please let me now, maybe i can help with some advices!!
