Quoting Astrila: İt would be nice if when you start a forum topic you become the moderator of this topic.
I started a topic and some people made very good and relevant replies. But others where not relevant and, worse, not a word of turkish in them. Then some people started to use the forum topic for personal and boring chat messages.
All the time the quotes become longer and it takes forever to go through the topic and find some turkish.
I want to be able to clean it up so that it is interesting for people who study turkish.

It's a regret to see that after your post here, most of the 40 posts that follow just fall into the same categoryin your words) "personal and boring chat messages".
Would some of our folks here consider exchanging their personal messages no matter how humorous they are and how sweet they sound, in the chat room instead of posting in the forum, please?

We can say what we like in the Off Topic Ninja. Are you including YOURSELF in that statement - you seem to particularly enjoy taking part in such threads

Quoting admin: A forum for suggestions about the web site was offered by both weber and bod. I think it is better to have this as a sticky thread instead of a separate forum. All suggestions and ideas for improving the site are welcome. Even if the changes are not implemented immediately, they will be recorded here in this thread for reference when necessary. |
I made a thread about board coding "images" you know [img][/img]
A Visual upgrade.. *wink*

Is there a possibility for a function that shows if a sent PM has been read? Like a reading confirmation?

Would it be possible to have threads set up for printing (the way some of the classes are, where you can go to print view and have a nice printout of the class)? I think it would be helpful, some threads are great and very informational, especially in the language/translation forums and it would be nice if you could print them up in a nice format - and maybe even edit them before printing to remove the "extra"stuff and keep the things that one´s interested in learning.
Thanks.
