I don´t think it should be possible for users to delete their threads. Just think that somebody who gets bored/gets their thread develop not the way they want, gets offended and deletes the whole thread together with everything other users posted. Not fair at all

Exactly.. +100000

can you imagine Sui coming and deleting what are you listening thread. Or someone is coming and deleting ´2 penies to your thoughts´ thread with thousands of posts?

Comments can be edited, can´t they? Title should also be editable. I am not sure about deletion by users though.

At the moment, you can´t edit the title of a thread you start - do you mean that you can make it possible?  That would be great!!  There is one particular thread title that irritates me so much every time it comes up {#emotions_dlg.rolleyes} - I would love to ask the OP to change it!!!  lol lol

You are right here. I missed this point. But what if no other posts by other users involved in a thread? An ideal solution would be: a user should be able to delete their posts (even if they are quoted by other users) and in case the thread includes only post(s) by the same user, their whole thread as well. This may technically not be simple this much, though, I know.

So,

* Thread titles should be able to edited by the starter

* Users should be able to delete their posts

While on the right thread, I must mention something that I find frustrating - that while you give one-line-space during writing or editing a text, it appears as two-line-space after you post it.

This

should

demonstrate

one-line-space

problem!

I agree users should be able to modify thread titles. As for deleting posts, you´re free to modify them and delete their content. True, if somebody quotes you then you have a problem - you can either ask the person to modify their post or simply get over it

Actually it´s one of the most liberal forums I use, in terms of users´ freedom to modify their post. Usually after an hour from posting, you lose the right to delete it. It makes sense as reading old threads with every other post deleted is just difficult. People should take responsibility for what they post

"Delete your account"- This option users must definetely have, together with a confirmation e-mail or pop-up window. Beside, there would be no need to request to be deleted.

Now that we have now a new feature ´like´, I think there should be ´dislike´ as well! Because it is equally important to know who your fans as well as who your enemies are! Hehe!

And just in case, we miss someone´s like/dislike, can we receive a notification via PM or e-mail please? I want to miss none! Hehe... {#emotions_dlg.bigsmile}

Hmm there is a like feature now. But I think that the original poster shouldn´t be able to like himself/herself.{#emotions_dlg.confused} Admin, is it a deliberate feature or bug?
