I think the state can not use such land for objectives other than that declared to get the court order. |
This case has some people nervous in the USA...

But the condos can't go up unless the city can remove the Saleets and their neighbors through eminent domain. And to legally invoke eminent domain, the city had to certify that this scenic park area is, really, "blighted."

Exactly
When I asked for a "beach table" at the restaurant I was not anticipating that a german in a thong would stand a few feet away, legs apart, butt practically in my face, talking loudly on his cellphone! It was a terrible waste of food

well..actually..I am quite conservative about swimming trunks.
My family ordered some shorts from an online cataloge for me without asking my opinion..
And than OMG blue shorts with purple points on it. They said 'oh but we will be wearing matching things'.
we went to turkey that summer and to the sea and my sister's husband come and asked me, smirking, 'was it really difficult to find those shorts?'
And it was the moment when my manly pride took its deepest wound.
