I thought they made men look sexy..
I am throwing mine into the bin right at this moment..lol

You can be so frightening sometimes!

well..actually..I am quite conservative about swimming trunks.
My family ordered some shorts from an online cataloge for me without asking my opinion..
And than OMG blue shorts with purple points on it. They said 'oh but we will be wearing matching things'.
we went to turkey that summer and to the sea and my sister's husband come and asked me, smirking, 'was it really difficult to find those shorts?'
And it was the moment when my manly pride took its deepest wound.

Lived in Fethiye Mugla Turkiye for almost 4 years & felt safe.
Have been in my home town in the uk for one month & do not want to go out....
first thing on news when I arrive here is that 3 teens aged 14, 15 & 18 killed a boy then tried to hide his body in river after hang him from a bridge!
Going back to Turkey.....
Simple live,
but!

Partner, I do feel a sense of injustice when average, middle aged, American housewives, with a son in college. refer to elusive items like European thongs.

Have you nothing to say about US thong bikinis?

You are so funny, Alpha. Middleaged and housewife? Maybe in Turkey I'm considered Middleaged, since the average longevity is 71. Not sure where you got your information, however you are wrong. lol

US thong bikinis? They are very appropriate as long as you have the body for them. Some people in the U.S. could stand to have a cloth wrapped around them, from head to toe.

Well teaschip1, my dear,

The US Census lists middle age as including both the age categories 35 to 44 and 45 to 54, whilst Erik Erikson sees it ending a little later and defines middle adulthood as between 40 and 65.

Middle Age

I am surprised to see the UK in that list. I have never heard of compulsory seizing of property here.

Yes can happen in the uk, not at much as it use to.

On that...M62 between Manchester and Leeds splits up at some point to accommodate a farmer that didn't want to move! So the Motorway was made to run around his land... Poor sheep !

WOW I didn't know that - excellent! lol

Yes i pass this farm everytime to go to Manchester, but they did built a tunnel under the moterway so the sheep can go into the fields to graze
