yes sigara is cigarette. also you can use "sigara" for "cigarettes". but it depends on what you would like you say.

for example: "i dont want to see these cigarettes". "Bu sigaraları görmek istemiyorum."

"Can you please buy me some cigarettes". "Bana sigara alabilir misin?"

thanks for your evalution fcs

can you explain this a little more or point me in the right direction

5.grammetically correct.  The question suffix should be added to "İstanbul" not to the verb. So the best answer is "Sen İstanbul´da yaşıyorsun?"

5.grammetically correct.  The question suffix should be added to "İstanbul" not to the verb. So the best answer is "Sen İstanbul´da yaşıyorsun?"

Special thanks to Erdinc, he has just explained it to me. i am just adding his explaination for this issue.

example:

Question: "Sen İstanbul´da çalışıyor musun?"

Here the person who asks the question knows that  i am in Istanbul. But doesnt know  if i am working or not. So the suffix is added to the verb.

Question: "Sen İstanbul´da çalışıyorsun?"

And here the person who asks the question knows that i am working for sure. But doesnt know where i am working. So the suffix is added to place(İstanbul).

Another example:

Sen okula gidiyor musun? (The owner of the question wants to know if i am going to school or not. doesnt know if i am going to school or no.)

Sen okula mı gidiyorsun? (The owner of the question already knows that i am going to somewhere. wants to know if it is school)

Then lets go back the question on the  homework.

5. ....................................... ?

Evet, ben İstanbul´da yaşıyorum.

Here the person is confirming that he/she is living in İstanbul by his/her answer. So the owner of the question wants to know if he/she is living in İstanbul or in other city? Therefore the suffix should be added to İstanbul. "Sen İstanbul´da mı yaşıyorsun?"

(p.s: erdinc, could you please correct/add  if something is not clear/ missing with the above)

instead of "bence", "sence" you can use "bana göre", "sana göre" as well. therefore you can use "ona göre" for  "according to him/her".

If i wanted to say according to Bahar

could I say   Bahar göre ?

thanks for all your help fcs
