Great idea Erdinc. Congratulation on this one but...would it be possible for you to come up with something a bit more advanced? I guess we have quite a number of people here who'd really appreciate it.

Hello Daydreamer,
I have 3 more of these kind stories and they are all relatively easy considering your level. We would like to simplify some books from Turkish Literature but it is and time consuming a difficult job, yet we are working on it.
As an alternative, have a look on these kid's stories. There are about 30 of them:

Thank you. I had a quick look at them and I'm sure that when I finally have some time I'll read them. Children stories are good because of the language used but the narrative itself isn't very interesting (at least for people at my age) so I am looking forward to seeing the abridged versions of Turkish literature you mentioned. Meanwhile I am struggling to read short stories by Ahmet Umit, Omer Ayhan, Hakan Gunday and many others I got as a freebie buying Turkish Cosmo. Here the situation is reverse I love the plot but I get stuck too often to really enjoy them.

I was reading through some of the comments/answers and I am confused by one of the explanations Erdınc has given (to Bod)on no 5.
In the story the words read "Çocuklar el salladı" - she waved at the children but Erdinc you give a possible answer as "Evet, çocuklar el salladılar". Doesn't the plural indicate that it is the children waving at Ayşe ?
I am I doıng somethıng badly wrong here ?

It is a new keyboard layout that I have created based on the standard English (UK) keyboard layout. The extra characters:
ç ğ ı ö ş ü
Ç Ğ İ Ã– Ş Ãœ
are accessed using AltGr + key (or Ctrl+Alt + key)
This has the advantage of keeping all the English (UK) characters in the same place but making the Türkçe characters easily accessible at the same time.
I have uninstalled the standard UK keyboard layout from all my machines now and only use the one from here
