-i is the accusative case. The accusative case is used in many situations. This is one of them. Plural generic direct objects take the accusative case.

Direct object: This means there is a verb that applies to the object itself. These verbs are also called transitive verbs. In other words, we are not doing something with an object. We are doing something to an object.

Accusative case: -ý, i, u, ü takes -y buffer if needed

Plural generic nouns: This means simply any plural noun that refers to an entire class.

´Kediler´ in "Ayþe kedileri çok sever" doesn´t refer to certain objects. We are talking generally about cats.

More examples about this type of usage of the accusative case:

Churchill Türkleri hafife almýþtý.

Churchill underestimated the Turks.

Güçlü bir fýrtýna þehirleri yok edebilir.

A strong hurricane can demolish cities.

Devlet fakirleri korur.

The state protects the poor.

Sanatçýlarý anlamak her zaman kolay deðildir.

It isn´t always easy to understand artists

Armenian Allegations and the Facts

This seems very much formal site to me,so why claiming Türkiye trys to cover it up ?

No stating what others want to hear is not covering up i believe, maybe there is nothing to hide to start with !

Have you ever considered that ?

Ý havent checked the book,so i cant say anything about it

Ý have downloaded the audio files part 1 as i have mentioned above ´Pimsleur_Turkish_Basic_Lessons_1_to_3´ and thats what im talking about

Ýf he mistaken I as soft vowel where its a hard vowel,it doesnt seems reliable enough to me as a grammar source

Ýt can be good as konuþma.

Ýts my opinion anyway, take it or leave it

Ý havent downloaded them all nor heared all the part i have already downloaded which is part 1 ,but from the little i heard,i would advice to use it as Audio files only which help you with pronunciation, and dont get your grammar information from it.

´I ´ is a hard vowel not a soft vowel,´Ã ´ is the soft vowel

Ýf they are mistaken this and its one of the basics so i wouldnt trust it much for the rest.

Thanks for sharing it doudi
