Is there a difference between

 aşk yak gönülden and

 aşk yar gönülden

My guess as a learner:

aşk = love

yakmak = to burn

yarmak = to split

gönülden = from the  heart

 aşk yak gönülden = ? heartfelt love that burns you up?

 aşk yar gönülden = ? love that breaks (splits) your heart?

Only a guess, wait for a native speaker to see how close or wrong I was  {#lang_emotions_rolleyes}

It may need more of the original sentence for a better translation.

And it´s from the song called Aşk by Sertab Erener.

At the remix version she says ´aşk yar gönülden´ at the end.

Aşk vur yürekten

Aşk yak gönülden

Aşk geç tenimden

Gel gir dünyama
