It has been said over and over. Debating over the condition of the site is getting tiresome. But all who questioned the atmosphere of the site, please note than when we see educational contributors quitting the site and removing their lessons, this is the most damning evidence of all.
This site was designed to help teach turkish to english speakers. Losing these types of resources is just sad...

Quoting Daydreamer:

The thing is, her post made me laugh. A person who never posted, who never took sides or voiced her opinion suddenly breaks the silence and cries 'I'm leaving because I am a free thinker and this site rules have not allowed me to speak my mind'. Isn't the Islamic club the ones who argued that it is the free thinkers that are welcome here rather than the others? Now you got me all confused.

You'd like people to care about the fact that a person who never posted will not post? Anlamıyorum yaaw

Daydreamer, she was a fresh member, and maybe has joint TLC in those past monthes
İm not a new member as you may know, and my counter is high also
But at those monthes i hardly post anything also,i got disapponted and didnt participate either,it was like,ok believe what you want, say what you want,it wont harm me a bit nor harm my religion !
But of course i was upset also .
But i am old enough in this site to know it wasnt like this, and i wanted it to be like it was and even better.
But she probably wasnt arround on those days,so all what she got is being upset,so why would she post anything then ?!

But no,it wasnt my point if people care that she post or not,her original post was she is leaving
So actually, yes,i would like people NOT to open the door for her, even she doesnt post any !

Thread: Samples of past tense sentences

First let me remind you how do we form a past tense sentence

Take gelmek for example
Gelmek means to come
İt contain of the verb root ''gel'' and ''mek'' mastar

So to form a past tens of gelmek

Verb root + DI + personal suffix

Gel + di + m ------- İ came
Gel + di + n ------- You came
Gel + di + ------- He came
Gel + di + k ------- We came
Gel + di + niz------ You came 'plural or formal,or with elders'
Gel + di + ler------ They came

Of course you change D to T or I to İ,Ü,U accourding to the vowel harmony
Now lets get to the sentences

"I went to work"
İşe giTTim
"I rode my bike this weekend"
Bisikletime bindim bu hafta sonu
"I didn't understand"
Anlamadım

Note that we used the MA suffix 'which is the negative suffix' here right after the verb root then we put the tense suffix ,and the personal suffix as in order

This will help you much too
winmekmak

PS: any correction is welcome
