Thread: let's make a poem of ours

Can't tell the story of mine
Too hard...
Hardly can remember how we met
Cautiously...

Soon I'm leaving
And I'm loosing you
From the love of my life
Flying away...

Can't live without you
Still thinking of us
Can't portray
What I feel right now
Snow covers the traces up
Without telling anyone
That we were together
And how much I love you

Half an hour till departure
Passed registration
And, as usual
Looking for your eyes
Fail to find the warmth of your hands
So unusual...

I'm leaving
I'm loosing you

From the love of my life
I'm flying away...

oh well, people from bilingual countries have a greater advantage, esp. if those two languages are from different language families/groups, for instance, one of my mother tongues is a slavic and another is turkic. i find it easier to learn more similar languages, except chinese, which i'm trying to learn now

Inan dilim söyledi
Gönül sesi değildi
Canım öyle yandıki
Kırdım senin kalbini

Koyu kara kapkara
Aşkımdan bu hatıra
Çalsam bütün kapıları
Kapanırmı bu yara

Unut kendini bende
Söz geçermi kalbime
Bir ümit varsa hala
Al benide Rüyana

Koyu kara kapkara...

another not complicated "math"
'time + efforst' brings money
'time + efforst + money' attarcts girls
'efforst - time - money - girs' - simply a bad luck...

anyhow, there would not be a life [depends on person how wonderful this life is] without such a genius creature of God like woman

Dearest Boss, (considering his mood and health conditions at the time of your speech)
Knowing how much you are concerned about us [give a shit about lazy bones, lol] and appreciate our work we do for you and the company, [esp. me, who always outperform ], I would kindly ask for raising my salary up to $$$. I believe I'll be even more faithful and devoted to my job [whatever it is] if you do this little favor for me!
Thank you for your consideration.
[And don't forget to pray before and after your speech or you'll be in the list of next "lay offffs" ]...

Boss will be pleased

But seriously, why do you need this kinda speech? Smts it's better to submit it in a letter or so.

Quoting catwoman:

beware of 'logic' (aka delusion) lesson no#2 from All Too Human (an overdose?)!

first of all, if girls require time AND money, then the first equation, (supposedly) would be:

1 girl = x*time + x*money

since time=money, then 1 girl = 2x*time = 2x*money

meaning - a girl is two times more important and valuable then money and time spent with her is twice more valuable then if it was spent on anything else!

haha, brilliant!

Thread: a foreign wife for a turkish man

Marrying a foreigner in many countries has distinct issues to be understood, problems to be solved and Turkey is not an expection. People are prejudiced (very common around the world), have different values, life style and blah, blah, besides they have many misconceptions regarding certain nationalities.
I've met and good and some silly Turkish men, but last case can't be a single aproach to describe whole nation. Turkish people (be them girls or guys) are great in many ways.
Anyhow, if two (a foreign wife and a turkish husband) are not interrupted continuosly by others - family, friends, overall society, deal with own problems by themselves (within one family) and try to understand each others' culture, customs, religion, then everything should be at least okay...
